Any of y'all tracking e-boost products?

One of the early release Euro vendors just released their initial kits (~$3K with current exchange rates):

Yes. It is like a pulley upgrade without the parasitic loss.

No lag, instant boost, can stage it like nitrous and ramp it up with voltage, seems like a no-brainer for a performance upgrade. Other than the battery box, wiring and needing an intercooler for it...but can use a water to air IC under the hood, no need for the air to air complexity.

got the original gas tank lines reconnected. Went to start the truck but the brake pedal appears to be fully depressed and will not go back to normal position. The truck will not even crank and has a Brake Malfunction error

    Any suggestions??

I think so too. Unlike a standard turbo these wont be a restriction on the exhaust side.

Holdener tested intake pipe length vs exhaust manifold length for turbo applications (remote mounted). The longer the exhaust runner the more turbo lag was experienced (shifted the curve to the right) but interesting enough the length of the intake had none to minimal impact on lag. You could feasibly mount these anywhere on the truck.

This is seriously awesome, I’d love to see this implemented on a tundra. Pretty ingenious. I wonder if they could be set up as compound turbos in series and used to boost up to 12psi instead of 6….

They have a bypass valve for exactly that, spooling up a larger turbo and then bypassing once boost overcomes the electric system, pretty slick stuff.

You could. The second turbo wouldn't care what the pressure is coming in you would just need to deal with the heat of compression.

The compounding is calculated differently so it isn't additive. I think in this case you would get almost ~14.5 PSI

Edit: I think you have to multiply the values in BARs

He said the max flow at top speed is 140g/s which comes out to 504 kg/hour. I wasn’t sure how that compared a SC like ours for example, but looking at the 2650 chart I think even at just 12kish RPM where I’m running mine that’s around 2,200 kg/hour. They’re definitely not big air movers but are pretty sweet to get instantaneous boost with no parasitic loss. I’m guessing the boost psi is totally dependent on the application. A 2.0 4 cylinder or something it may make 6psi but on a big V8 I’m guessing it’s less.

This wouldn't be too difficult to mount up https://www.frozenboost.com/air_water-ic/small-liquid_air-intercooler-p-210.html
Or you could just plumb the electric's output to the bigger turbo's input, that's how it's done on many stock compound turbo setups, then of course the bigger turbo's charge has to get cooled.

    True. 14.7psia x 1.4PR = 20.58psia out of turbo 1 into turbo 2. 20.58 x 1.4PR =28.81 - 14.7 = 14.1 PSIG output of turbo 2…. I think.

What if I try getting FPR vacuum from the boost port on the SC instead of the intake?

That's where you should be getting it, I forgot that step...plug the barb on the intake and connect to the SC.

I think so. Would need to adjust for heat which I didn't calculate.

If twin charging, probably best to size a pulley that puts the blower through the middle of the best efficiency island and have the e-boost do the rest of the work.

I was where oem got it at the intake.

I just capped the intake and put the T on the boost port.

    Thanks

He is probably busy boosting something...or designing something that can help boost something that isn't boosted.

I'm still lean, fuel pressure isn't dropping though. Any ideas?
For reference, here is where the pressure is set (Xact said do 50)
    IMG_E0210.jpg

    Stays 99% there on revs.
    https://streamable.com/89qal8

Any ideas on getting it to not be lean?
