    Ahh I see. Thanks.

anyone ever used the rave off road aftermarket grill? Website says the amber/amber lights bolt on to their aftermarket grill but not oem. Customer service said the aftermarket grill is the same except for the bolt on abilities for their lights and it has a flatter finish where OEM is more satin. Wondering about quality though..

Anyone wire these to a spot other than the fuse box? Not excited about poking a hole thru the fuse block. They can’t draw hardly any amps.

There's a fuse box under the hood, where I tapped into for the markers

I'm assuming you have the LED, non-premium headlights? Do you recall which wire you tapped for the parking lights? Appreciate your insight!

    LED, NON-PREMIUM HEADLIGHTS

Did some digging around and found the parking light +12vdc parking light wire. I took some pictures that I'll attach below. It was very easy to access once removing the passenger side air-box. The air-box just pops out, but make sure you disconnect the MAF sensor and remove the wiring stay before yanking it out. Pull straight up and the rubber grommets below will let loose. tip: spit on the rubber grommets before putting the air-box back in.

I've traced the wiring loom we are looking for in blue, and the two other headlight connectors for reference. There is (3) total. The parking light / turning signal connector is very difficult to reach from the engine bay. you'll see in one of the pictures below I was able to access it by partially removing the wheel liner. You will not need to access this connector, I only did so for testing voltage. I was not able to even see this connector(s) from the engine bay FWIW.

Once the air-box is removed, peel back the electrical tape that the loom is wrapped in so you can isolate the GRAY wire that supplies +12vdc to the parking lights. Either use some wire strippers and solder in your tap w/ 18-22 gauge wire or use a posi-tap. Make sure you have some quality electrical tape on hand to cover up your new tap and close the loom once finished.

**Note that this circuit is not designed to carry any significant load. I would highly recommend using a this as a relay trigger if used for anything other than a couple small LED lights (fender flair LEDS, grille LED running lights, etc.). Do this at your own risk. If you are not confident with your wiring abilities, it might be best to practice on something else before taking a stab at your brand new truck.

Hi there, I followed what you did and used an add a fuse in that same slot and mine also come on randomly some times even when the truck is off. What fuse is the fuse for when the headlights are on? Many thanks for any extra info you might have.

Ran the positive cable for mine through an existing opening into the passenger fuse box. IMG_2554.jpg
