Yea, that's the smallest belt for any pulley setup. With the exception of the stock pulley, all others should use that (for the Magnuson).

 

Innnnteresting. I seem to be skating by on the standard kit belt with my URD 3.456" +2psi pulley. Maybe that's the limit? Just something else to monitor.

Well I run the same belt as people with a 2.3" pulley with my 2.0" pulley, so I think there's plenty of room for error. People just tend to run the smaller belt when going down in pulley size.

 

No fun.

This read is the reason I did the RCF and the PS intake. I have to say I was disappointed with my Dyno numbers, seeing this truck make 630 on a hub Dyno.

 

Could not get the Gates on, gave up, went with the Dayco. It was not easy but went on.

 

Victor G has a great video out about the stock fuel rails and how well the flow up to about 800hp with out needing to replace them. Using a bigger fuel pump and injectors seem to solve any issues.

I don’t remember, do you have all the same mods ARH headers and all?

 

I don't have headers, my last build lost power after installing JBA system, so on this build I didn't do them.

 

From what I gather, 1-7/8” ARH is the way to go to make power with headers. Don’t think other brands make as big of gains.

 

I went with JBA and mid pipes with converters made by dirty deeds. The converters melted in a week of driving, I had to cut them out and weld in my stock ones. Lost a ton of low end power. I have used ARH headers on some of my car builds, and they always work well.

 

It's done, quick drive all seems well. I'm beat!

What's the best intake, I had to cobble this together, the passenger side hood support had to come out.





What does the PVC connect to? What about the valve that went to the back of the original intake? I plugged the electrical connector but not the vacuum hoses.

 

The magnuson box is what you need. The small line needs to be hooked to the intake that goes to the fuel rail. The large pcv I capped at the intake end and connected it to the pcv system lines

 

Nice work! Hard to tell from the first picture angle, but looks like your coolant reservoir might be rotated 180 degrees pushing it to the drivers side instead of tucked next to the maggie.

 

Yep I did that at first then I thought not a bad place away from the heat of the blower but moved mine back lol.


I’d also recommend a catch can. I’ll be redoing mine from the prospeed to a radium. If anyone wants the prospeed unit let me know.

Prospeed new is $300 I believe and the radium single unit is $250 or something like that. No need for the dual radium can setup.
