Pull forward to wash, push up to swipe, down to engage. It’s all so intuitive. I’ll buy some random sequoia stalk and see.

I don’t think that one’s a Hydro assist I don’t see the plumbing. from the description:

This can also function as a rack-slider to help alleviate some of the stress at the rack and rack mounts.

    I don’t think I would mind a rack - slider….

Who on here has a 2007 Sequoia we can ask if theirs has a tap-up-wipe-once function?

    Hey @Siebler

You still have your '07 Seqouia?

Does it have a convenience wipre feature like in later model Toyotas where you can tap up on the wiper stalk to wipe once, no spray?

@daveeasa I started digging thru parts and ...

For my '06 here, in the switch/relay/computer section: https://parts.toyota.com/a/Toyota_2...2060/SWITCH--RELAY--COMPUTER/841420-8401.html

In the 2nd row of diagrams, 1st picture, we see the components on my late model 1GT (more after the pic):

    upload_2023-3-14_13-21-59.jpg
84650 in that diagram traces to part 846520C021.

Here is a pic of the part, with wire/colors, taken from fleaBay (this apparently also fits a Solara - more text after the pic)

    upload_2023-3-14_13-24-49.jpg
It looks similar but significantly-enough different from the wiper stalk the 2nd Gen Tundra and 2nd Gen Tacoma guys are upgrading to when they don't have intermittent, which also includes a 'tap up' feature, which is like this:

    upload_2023-3-14_13-26-54.jpg
So i looked at the 2005-2007 Avalon, and the switch is fairly similar, and includes a tap-up option... looks like it could be a probable option? Except, I can't tell the difference between tap up and twisting the end, the icon is same for both.

Can't use a Sequoia or minivan switch because they use a rear wiper, it must come from a sedan/pickup with no rear-window wiper. I looked at a few '07 Sequoia stalks and they don't incldue tap-up convenience wipe anyway.

    upload_2023-3-14_13-33-21.jpg
So I dug around a little more, and checked Camry. 2002-2006. This looks like a potential winner too, styling is very similar, p/n 84652-21030. Virtually identical on the stalk appearance. Chassis is a tad different.

I'll keep hunting later. I exhausted my 30min free time lunch break to spend on this.

You're replacing the door latch? I'm curious now because my driver door, and only the driver door likes to only half close.....I figured it might be a lubrication thing I haven't gotten around to just yet.

Any of yalls A/C light ever blink and then you notice the air isn't cooling? I'm guessing-- hoping I just need to add refrigerant.

I’ve replaced Freon 3x before I found the leak and it never blinked at me, but it would also never leak out right away, it would take like 4-5 months for it to stop cooling…4.5 months and I’ll know if it’s fixed proper this time

I just had the timing belt done and picked up the truck yesterday. Maybe they messed with the compressor? Either way, I just dropped it back to the shop this afternoon.

Oh snap. Check your crank position sensor harness routing sooner, not later. You know they probably didn't route it correctly.

For the AC compressor - check your grounds. Isn't there one near the compressor? Make sure it's held down tight. I remember seeing this one on here before...

I don't think this was the person who had it but @w666 what was the issue you had with your AC compressor ground while doing the TB?

I don’t know. The company that built the truck stopped posting to Facebook in 2014. They might have become dirt king. But I don’t see anything on that site.
