Boy the possibilities are endless. Could be out of time now. Could have counterfeit injectors. Could have counterfeit coils. Could have mixed up coil pack wires. Could have improperly routed the cam sensor wire. Could have bad gas. Could have improperly routed the vacuum lines. Where to start? Go back over your work, use a repair manual or the FSM.

    CEL on? What codes?
Could be fuel pump, could be spark plugs, could be you did something wrong, etc...

My money is on the timing being off

the FSM is the Toyota “bible” for these trucks. A treasure trove of info. I have a Haynes / Chilton’s manual that I reference when making major repairs I haven’t done before.

No idea which year/model you have, but Tundra manuals are in the fourth paragraph of this article.

Sounds like you fucked up the timing to me.

Unless you used non-OEM parts. OR maybe you ordered parts off scAmazon, fleaBay, or WallyWorld and got counterfeits like so many other people have. These trucks are particular about aftermarket parts with the electronics. And counterfeit parts are rampant on the big 3 I just listed.

But let's go with timing first. Start backwards. Go back in and re-confirm timing. Yes, it sucks, but you don't want a brick, right? Make sure you know what the hell you're looking for, if you don't understand how to set the timing let us know, take some pics of your timing marks. Still misfiring? Reinstall the original coils. Still misfiring? Come back and let us know.

Make sure you didn't make the stupid, hair-brained mistake a lot of others do - make sure you properly tucked away the crankshaft position sensor's wiring harness. It should not be hanging out in any way, there's a spot for you to tuck it into properly.

Might be a vacuum leak or a hose put on wrong. Did you pull off the Manfold?

Put the old coils back in.
