Yes I’d like the same. Paid upfront for a cat shield. Initially responsive but hasn’t return any emails in over two months. We are on four months. Sent dozens of messages. Nothing.

Guy seems to be running the business alone with not much sense of communication or scale to demand. His products sold seem sound, but just leaving all customers on "read" also seems a poor tactic.

It's only been 2 months since I ordered a nut retention plate, but I'm nearing the point of fabricating my own. It doesn't need to be pretty, after all, just a block of aluminum that I could thread to size of bolts directly.

He just welds bolts to the plate if that is easier than threading it....

I hate to see that he got in over his head.
But that seems to be the case.

@202? Tundra some say he is easier to get ahold of thru facebook messaging.
You might try that if it's an option..

I'm sure he will come thru. Mine took 4 months to get here. Then it took me 2 months to put them on. Worth the wait.

Hmmm getting hard pressed to keep waiting when I'd just need to borrow a tap & die set.

I ordered my plates from him very early on when he first started, got them quick and was very happy. Ordered the nut plate about a month ago to have on hand when I drop the plates for fluid changes. Haven’t heard a peep, hopefully he’s doing ok and just plugging away at trying to catch up on orders. If I don’t get it by the time I service the fluids I’ll end up making my own.

Is this still off your truck? I ask because @Talon2006 was asking for dimensions in another thread.

As most have said, his product is excellent; I'm running the front/rear cat plates.

Communication is another matter entirely. LOL @ this point, I'd very likely purchase any future stuff through Talon or others, given virtually everyone else has better communication *and* lead times.

That was before I installed everything.
He actually had to make 2 of them, the first one was too wide.:eek2:

@Talon2006 I can get under the truck and measure the center of the bolts if needed.
    Let me know..

@MedCityMoto here is a better pic of the welded bolt.

I could ship you my metric tap and die set to borrow.
But it would probably be cheaper to go to Habor Freight and buy one than the cost of shipping it back and forth...:D

Another member apparently bought one of these plates but didn't end up using it, if he can locate it in his garage, I'll buy it from him. If he can't, well, it's an excuse to buy another Useful Tool™!

Thanks for the photos! I think if I put the threading directly into a 1/2" or 3/4" thick aluminum plate, it should last, right? Otherwise thinner steel and some spot welds, but I don't have welding gear/knowledge.

I have a 3d Scan of the truck so that measurement I should have.

What I want wanting to know was the diameter of the TRD pro shield bolt holes. Someone said they are 10mm bolts so I have a pretty close idea to what they should be.

I actually just pulled up the tundra scans and am poking around at this.

Someone idiot check me and double check I have the right two holes :p

I would design something, send it across the country to test fit just to find out I made it off of the wrong hole.

Same. Ordered cat shield on December 30th. Haven’t heard back from Valhalla Shields in awhile. I’ve emailed and messaged several times since then with no reply.
How would one get a hold of him via Facebook messenger?

I sent him an email via his website today. I’ll give him a day to at least let us know he’s alive. Anyone close by to him for a welfare check?

Unfortunately the same situation here, I inquired with him several times via his site. Nothing. With more and more individuals not getting any information from him, I’m starting to get concerned. Also, noticed he lost his Vendor status here as well?

Same situation peeps. Ordered front/rear aluminum plates in November and I've emailed, FB messaged, commented on his FB post and have not received one single reply. I am getting close to cancelling the order and initiating a refund since I paid upfront due to no communication.. Hopefully the refund process goes smoothly.

I just got my Tundra back last week from waiting on new cats since October (stolen) and need a shield ASAP. I may need to look into the Talon product as someone mentioned that product above.

Yeah I’m going to do the same. Requested a refund from PayPal since he apparently just DGAF anymore and I don’t care how great his product is, this isn’t how you do things.

I am monitoring these Valhalla threads hoping for Tyler to finally show up, apologize for the lack of communication, and do the right thing for everyone who has paid and is still waiting. I waited longer than most because several weeks after I placed my order, he announced the v3 model. I requested that model and it was many months before he started delivering them. But he did deliver.

I understand everyone's frustration and my advice today would be to cancel any Valhalla orders and buy from RCI, Talon, or one of the other providers of these plates.
