So you received the green ones and then bought the Five-O ones? Or one of those are the ones that came off your truck?

I tried looking for a picture I thought I had taken, on my truck at least the OEM injector is tan and long and the Magnuson supplied are short and green. The Five-O ones Ive seen appear to have a stock (tan) looking body but obviously flow more.

 

The green came with the SC, I bought the Gold 5-0s

What are you using for airbox upper?

Does the TRD upper use the 07-13 lower or a different one?

Asking in case I have issues.

 

Should be 07-13 lower for any airbox lid made for the supercharger kit.

Sorry I did not respond to the AFR gauge placement. I'm thinking here if it has room behind to fit.

I received it yesterday...I didn't notice there was an Upgrade link next to my MPVI2 in Devices, I could have done it that way and had the credits transferred...I put in a support ticket to get them transferred over to the MPVI3.

I used AEM gauges. so you have to skootch the gauge mounts back a smidge with small washers.

 

otherwise my cruise control thing hits the buttons on the gauges.

 

Sweet. I believe that's the mount I'm going with as well, but will likely do the Innovate PSB-1 gauge. I did see another mount on a Youtube video of a supercharged Tundra where the gauge was mounted inside the ac vent on the left side of the dash. Been trying to find that video again to see what mount was used, but no luck finding it so far. I'll post up a picture if I can find it and maybe someone will know what mount that is.

 

This is what I did as well. With the combination gauge I only used the one pod, mounting it on the left hand side. The only indicators that it obscures are the left turn signal, and the Check Engine Light. A slight tip of the head brings them back into sight though.

 

Found the video. Below is a picture of the gauge installed and a link to the gauge I believe was used. I like the clean look of the install, but think I'd rather have the PSB-1 over this gauge.

I like the cravenspeed mount. Looking at those gauges in my face makes me feel like I’m about to stop into Harry's and order 3 t66 turbo's with NOS and a Motec System exhaust as I drive along.

 

Did the shop install the AFR gauge crooked or do you want it that way?

I have a slight squeal most noticeable around 800-1200 rpm's, but not consistently. Toyota replaced the belt tensioner and fan bracket about two weeks ago as a fix. The squeal is still there, but not nearly as bad. I'm thinking it may be the supercharger idler pulley or the engine idler pulley emitting the tiny bit of squeal that is left. I figured since everything is off might as well swap both those pulley's to see if that clears it up.

How'd you get the 5% off? I too need to do the near exact order you have minus the 76mm Idler...I'm mounting my PSB-1 in the AC vent myself and used a Glowshift cradle for the vent...

When I went to the checkout it had a box for discount codes. I did a quick google search and found nothing recent, but it looks like they do 15% off sales around the holidays with codes. I like your tenacity! Thank you for the heads up! I got my PSB-1 and Glowshift in today so I plan on fitting things up soon...

 

Let me know how it goes with the gauge install. I really like the clean look of it being in the vent, but wasn't a fan of the P3 gauge. Will the vent cradle drop into place or need modification to fit the Tundra? Any idea where you plan to weld the bung on the exhaust? Trying to find the right location based off feedback from others.

 

I will for sure and post photos of the finding/results...The cradle just drops in and isn't secured by anything other than weight and compression of the gauge...The cradle should just drop in without modification. I'm going to check and see what side and where the bung will be added...Sniv and others have used the passenger side as it's much easier to get to and weld in...the driver's side would be best only due to Cylinder 5 being an often culprit of when these motors go and start getting stretched tired....but we'll see...I likely will do the PS due to ease but I'll know more this weekend...

 

IC coolant pump harness, reservoir & spark plugs came, all that is outstanding are the gaskets for the TB & coolant crossover & SC hose kit, all from Toyota supposed to come next week.

I wired up the harness & tested the pump, it runs!




Also, I have 2 S&B dry filters I forgot about so have a temporary solution if I can't get the AFE to work.





Also, a new AFE wet, don't know if it's big enough to attach. We'll see.
