I've seen people say this, and also that after a big tune the MPG readout on dash isn't correct. That you need to do the math on fillup to verify

Whatever this forum told me to do
I'm going by my Scanguage 3. it WAS within a 1/10 of a gallon on fillups.

but to your point...the new tune may have did a 3 card monty on me. he did make the mix richer.

the SG3 has a nice way of modifying the full usage when you fill up...it "learns". we'll see.

Since those with long travel have no liners my plan is to route the 5” opening into the cowl area for cool fresh air. Also have it sit a bit higher since the wheel well area will be getting fully cut out for clearance

You can piece an SABM together for very cheap. That’s what I did via the Amazon

I would imagine so. In January 2022 I was in contact with Nergal at SCOL about ordering one new. The prices at that time were as follows:
    The Airbox Base is $45.00
    The Lid is $155.00
    Shipping $22.00 - $25.00
You can email him and find out price and availability at:
    Nergal@superchargersonline.com

I too pieced together the SABM parts with cheap stuff from Amazon.

Also, I emailed SCOL about the lower air box. He said he'd never heard of the 2007-2013 lower box being larger than the top part. When I look through both Toyota 2014- and Magnusun instructions, it only has you changing out the lid. He's gonna go grab the dimensions off the lower box so I can compare against my 2021

That filter is the largest AFE filter I could find that would fit in the Stillen airbox. Folks would need to run a 4.5" to 6" adapter to use it. Sorry for any confusion.

This is the dilemma I faced and part of why I went with the AFE filter. They offer several levels of filtration; a high flow oiled akin to the K&N, a reusable non-oiled one with better filtration just a notch below the high flow, and an oiled for offroad for heavy dust environments (best filtration but lower flow). Currently running the middle flow but plan on testing the other two out after my gauges and retune. I won't have dyno data of the three but may be able to gleam something from the PSI.

    Here is AFE's info:

Here is the difference between an 07-13/magnuson filter and the smaller 2014+ filter.

Well, I stopped by Dyno Comp today to inquire about doing my Magnuson coupler replacement along with installing the @snivilous pulley, new fuel pump, injectors, and smaller belt. I didn't get a good vibe from that place, but maybe it was just the guy behind the counter. He was telling me that for the coupler they would pull the supercharger and send it out to Magnuson for a rebuild. That rebuild would cost between $2,500 - $3,500 and take 3 weeks. I just sort of internally laughed to myself and still asked about the other items for the heck of it. He said they could install the fuel pump and injectors, but was trying to convince me they were not needed with the smaller pulley. He seemed to think sending the Mag off for a rebuild and then slapping the pulley on and doing a dyno tune for an additional $1,295 would be all I needed. Needless to say I was not impressed. I almost got the feeling I was interrupting his break. No one else was inside and he didn't seem busy at all.

After that, cruised over to Westcott Designs who did my Magnuson install. Told them about the coupler rattle and that I'd like to install a smaller pulley, fuel pump, and injectors while the snout is pulled off. Talked about the parts I'd like to use and that I could order and bring everything in if that were easiest for them. They said they didn't see a problem with tackling that for me, but would need to talk with their lead installer and get back to me with an estimate for everything. Hoping that they will be able to do it and then I'll start ordering the parts and get an install date set up. I'll just need to get something lined up for the tuning piece.

@e30cabrio - Are you still providing the pulley removal tool loan program (for a fee of course)? ;) Not sure if Westcott Designs would need it, but that puller looks a heck of a lot easier to use.

Well knowing that will most likely pull air from the fender well it won’t work in my application. Plus who knows when that’ll be ready and released

I don't understand how a company that provides expensive 100% discretionary spending services can be so unfriendly.

    Happy to share!

Just got an email from Westcott Designs after stopping by yesterday to inquire about the coupler replacement, pulley install along with the Walbro 450 and 750cc injectors. They will take on the job for me! Guess I can start to order the parts and get the ball rolling.

They look identical to the stock ones. Question is why are the Magnusons different from stock.

I am missing 6 of the doughnut O rings so interacted with FIVE 0 to get all the O rings, he said the green one was OEM. :dunno:

This is my first interaction with Tundra injectors. :D

Do you have a link? I'm not familar with RCA unless I'm just drawing a blank at the moment. Possibly looking to add the PSB-1 to the list as well. What are you doing for a mount? I was looking at the cravenspeed flexpod option, not sure if there is anything better out there.
