Did you find that belt listed somewhere? Since the length is 117.7" (the last four numbers), and the stock belt from Magnuson is 112.6" (and smaller belts for smaller pulleys use 112.4", with one option being a gates K081124). That belt seems drastically longer based on the part number...

I got an extra psi going from the stock airbox that had an AFE dryflow and carbon filter deleted, to the magnuson with SABM, AFE dryflow and carbon filter removed. The Prospeed intake does seem to give it an extra psi or 2 on top of that just from the greater diameter and maybe the big cone filter at the expense of a bit more hot engine bay air. They tested them against eachother but the magnuson didn’t have an SABM from what I could find, and the hoods were open which isn’t realistic for real world driving.

Good catch, that’s the green belt for the Harrop. I have one sitting in my truck as my spare.

    Good info

I have to stay with the wix. The dust here is comical. It’s like the Middle East on dry days. It would be detrimental for me to move to a looser filter.

I’m quasi-content at this power level.

he also used hpt to tune the transmission. Can’t wait to feel the diff

Thanks, I messed up & ordered the one for Harrop in post 1.

    Gates doesn't make 112.6"?

Will the Gates K081124HD force on the standard pulley?

So talking with OTT, they actually want my stock intake like pictured below, literally the only way it fits. So that they can dial in the injectors first and have a proper MAF curve or baseline. After the 750cc injectors are dialed in, they'll go back and retune the MAF for whatever intake I end up using.

Whatever it takes. Same conversation I just had with him. I'm surprised, in your case since the Stillen has the same ID, at least on one end, as stock.

I mentioned that but he had a good explanation against it. I took rough OD measurements and the Stillen does seem to be marginally larger at the start of the MAF mounting point

Nope lol, but they only need it for the idle tuning. Can swap over for the driving around tuning.

Here's the gates belt I ordered and installed. 113"

Fair enough. It is 3.5" at center MAF. I don't know what effect if any the funnel shape has on accurate measurements though.

Test fit the IC, not going where M3's is. I have a condenser fan. Going to have to go under the fan.

Another minor update post custom intake and + MAF replacement.

IATs are slightly higher by two or three points which is not a big deal. I will need to clamp the outer sleeve again to improve the seal on the air box and I will also look at re-insulating the tube again if the elevated temps persist.

I noticed MPGs improved significantly while on a short drive trying to clear my internal emissions test; mix of light city and light highway. Most likely had a faulty MAF and replacing it fixed the main issue.

Waiting on parts before retuning. For snorts and giggle I will probably run PSI tests on three AFE filter types when everything is Kosher.

@ZPhilip installed some 650cc injectors over the weekend and I sent him a new tune for them which appears perfect straight out the gate!

He has a "stage 1" Harrop with the 85mm pulley, and even with 650cc injectors is seeing 75% duty cycle at 6000rpm! The stock injectors are 372cc--and I would argue that 650cc injectors are the optimal amount for the Harrop since ~80% duty cycle is the rule of thumb for injectors. Even the 535cc TRD Greens--a massive step up over stock--would be getting into the 90%+ range with a stage 1 Harrop. Food for thought anyone looking at injectors, you may want to go over 650cc if you want to step up in the future. This is not to say 650cc won't work with the smaller pulleys, but you might be closer to the limit than you think.

    Injector duty cycle chart:

I’m at 86% duty cycle in the 650s and 80mm pulley. I’m comfortable with that, but if I added anymore air via pulley or larger intake I’d probably be going to 750s. It’s no wonder the early adopters of the tundra supercharger upgrades experienced a few engine failures, everyone was clearly under fueling.

I'm at ~68% duty cycle on the PS 750's with an 80mm and afr's in the 10's. One maybe two more revisions left then ill be set with tuning

Just the pulley size that comes with the kit at first then maybe later pulley up. They’ll be occasionally towing their new 6k offroad trailer so we will see how it does

Tunes done truck runs great. Have a call with the tuner to discuss here shortly. Looks like the maggy box and maf tube is limiting factor. So I’ll work on a solution for that as we had anticipated this needed updating.

    MRP update #2
Used digital calipers ( is the "How Long" brand any good?) and measured ID of both MRP 4.5" OD/4.25 ID" intake tube vs the PS 4.5" OD intake tube. I estimate the MRP is about ~4.4% smaller area than the PS, more so if you have the air straightener screen. Not sure it would be worth getting a sample of screen to crush down and figure out how much cross sectional area it occupies.

    MRP is 108mm diameter

PS is elliptical so 108mm on the short side and 112.8mm on the long side. Looks like the tube gets distorted when they bend the end.

You can always go custom 5"OD / 4.75" ID from MRP but good luck finding an off the shelf reducer. Anyone know the practical MAF scaling limit?

Went on a longer drive and IATs are definitely higher, up to +40 over ambient. It is not an air box sealing issue as far as I can tell so I'm picking up more engine heat through the tube itself. Nothing some Wendy's wrappers can't take care of since I am not NASA approved. ;)

Good news is we had some "heavy" rain and the Stillen box was bone dry without a block off plate. I'm also running a TREX billet grille which may help minimize some rain intrusion. I think you would have to drive through more than a foot of water to get intrusion. The filter sits up off the bottom of the box I think it would be pretty hard to water log the filter.

It appears to be 67.725g/s according to HPT which is pretty low. I already have it maxed out from 4.8V-5.0V with my 4" intake and didn't even know it until looking at it just now... I wonder how people get around that, or if they just ignore it since it only comes into play at the top end?

Also in regards to your sizing and crushing the honeycomb mesh, I think it's a waste of time since you just need to ball park the MAF scaling, and then datalog and then it'll get specifically dialed in closer than measuring anything will do.
