How is the ride w/ the Dobinson rear shocks and springs? I'm on the fence whether to get the adjustable or just IMS rear shocks

Installed Extang ALX tonneau cover. Shameless plug : if anyone is looking for one for 5’5” bed. I have the same one for 22-23 tundra I need to get ride of. DM me if interested. Only a few weeks on the last truck.

    - De-Badged it
    - Chrome delete with vinyl wrap
    - Leer 100XR Cap with racks
    - GoRhino RB20s
    - Swapped the stock rims for TRD rims (got a steal on them from someone who bought a new Tundra and immediately took it to the shop to lift it)
Planning for a small lift, 2” or so. It has the Air bag/Level system, so I’m trying to figure out the best move while retaining ride quality (if anyone has advice).

Running IMS rear and have had 2 sets of dobinsons springs (needed more weight capacity). The IMS ride great, my plan was to change to adjustable's in the future but haven't felt the need yet, even towing offroad.

No prep work just took some iso propyl alcohol and wiped it down. Used about 2 cans with a little left over.

How’s the sound ? What’s your setup. I’ve been craving an update to my audio. These stock audio setups are lackluster.

Installed Talons Garage Engine Skid Plates and Cat Shield, today. I painted them black before installing. I highly recommend grinding all the sharp edges smooth before installing. Especially the drain plug access.A721B41A-2772-46FF-80F2-2F8F7ECE8313.jpg D22F4187-DF77-459A-B60D-DE1C939EB73C.jpg 474D360D-E873-49BD-82CC-0568FAC7786E.jpg 7BB40B60-68D8-4A6E-BDD1-C07B75FBD529.jpg

So I accidentally overheated my transmission today... Ran the first 2 mins of this trail in 4hi... Oops. Obviously user error and should have been in 4L. I was too distracted messing with the mts modes. Think I should do adrain fill? It cooled. Right back to normal after a few mins

maybe my ignorance is showing, but that seems crazy to me that the trans would overheat in 4hi on some snowy trails. Sorry that happened! Hopefully it was a fluke thing!

Honestly I was surprised too. I'm used to my first gen Sequoia and I probably would have left it in 4hi. It could definitely use extra cooling or maybe mine is abnormal or low or something. The manual does warn it can overheat with excessive wheel spin though.

Installed the oem bed extender. Took 5 minutes and makes a huge difference. I bought it mainly for the stroller and grocery runs etc.

Was it difficult installing the engine skid plates? The instructions on their website aren’t great (visually)

We just got done installing our new under seat storage for the 22-23 non-hybrid models. This fits the CrewMax and should fit the Double Cab. It is made from 5052 aluminum with split locking lids. It is powder coated black, and replaces the plastic storage that is in the truck now. It came out really nice and we are excited to be releasing it soon.

Toyota makes an OEM bed step for about $250-300

I used a 22" Lasfit light bar I got for $100 on mine. Bolted right to the crash bar. Outputs TONS of light and is super subtle looking hidden behind the bumper

When are you expecting this to release, for how much, and who are your vendors? Also, how much weight does it support? I ripped my 60% seat out and am gonna put my cx75dz fridge there. Would this support that much weight?

Would there be an option without the center divider? Being able to securea rifle from a quick smash and grab would be nice.

There are no instructions for the engine plates, only the cat shield. That said, it wasn’t too hard to figure out. The engine plates come with four 1/4” spacers. After installing the front plate I figured out the spacers go in the very front. Then with a little logic, I figured out that the three plates go on like shingles on a roof. The second one tucks under the first and the cat shield tucks under the second. The cat shield instructions tell you where all the shield screws go. The middle shield uses 3 of the same holes, which leaves 4 bolt holes to figure out. So to answer you question it was not difficult too install the engine skid plate. I did email Talons and let them know they had the wrong instructions linked the 3rd Gen.

Was looking for a quick storage option with easy removal for my beach gear. Rigid pro gear 2 boxes come with mounts meant for studs. Had to drill holes a tad bigger but works great.

Installed Bak MX4 cover, Elevate Bed Rack and Go Rhino E-boards. The wiring for the boards took the longest. Had to route wires into the passenger cab below the front seat and then route a couple across to the driver side under the center counsel.

Where did you buy the E-boards? If you don’t mind sharing what you paid as well.

No pics but I got rid of a tap tap tap sound coming from the front passenger side. It sounded like something was slapping the headliner. Removed the overhead console, passenger visor, a Pilar, b pillar and dropped the headliner a bit.

Found a loose harness that had separated from the THIN strip of adhesive they used to glue it to the headliner board. Used some carpet tape and stuck it back down, plus added some CCF on top of that for good measure.

Went for a test drive and sound is gone! I hate squeaks, creaks and rattles. So next up is full sound deadening of the cab.
