The TRD dual was easy ! Some people said I needed the truck to be on a lift ! But you don’t you just need to lower the spare tire.

That’s my truck in the video ! Can’t tell you how great Kieth and his kid were . Love supporting a family owned local business. Great guy to deal with !

My truck with the dual TRD pipe is exhaust and dirty deeds mid muffler bolt on. Only company I know that will warranty if it’s too loud or too quite on their systems

Installed the TRD tailpipe section and put in TRD air filters. Love this combo and can certainly hear a difference (even with the piped-in sound still on). Def. recommend!

I had to drop of spare tire to make enough room. On my back in my driveway. Pretty easy other than that.

Had to drop spare tire down which is easy, but did have to Jack up the rear of truck a bit with factory Jack to finagle the tight bend in the pipe up and around the axle, etc. Overall worth it and took me maybe 45 minutes

Has anyone confirmed that the TRD tailpipe section (PT226-34220-02) will fit a double cab w/ the 6.5 bed?

    Thanks!

how much louder would you say it is than stock? I’m super on the fence. I don’t want super loud but a tiny bit louder and better tone with a clean look would be ideal.

Here are my thoughts on the TRD exhaust after months of ownership. I’m a VERY picky person btw and I love it:

    1) its one click louder than stock. It’s never loud enough to be annoying and overall it’s a great tone for this engine.

    2) I love cold starts (louder for a minute or two before it settles down into a quieter purr)

    3) for the under $200 delivered I spent, it will likely end up being the best ‘cost per smile’ upgrade I do

Essentially, it takes the performance sound of your truck from the factory base-level model sound, to the high end competition model sound (if that makes any sense). Hope that helps.

Toyota parts online…look at prices online for dealers near you. Looks like cheapest I found near me is $236 with free shipping now. A bargain still.

I've noticed this part cannot be selected if you have power running boards. Anyone on here have it installed with power running boards?

I’m 99% sure it is because the piece is only an axel back portion of the exhaust.

I think you may be right as there doesn’t seem to be an other part numbers. I was more checking to see if anyone knew whether or not the wheelbase is different

Show me the post where it says it’s the same part for both the short and long bed. No need to get all sassy about it and then not share the info requested lol.

Bro, those images have no dimensions in them and tell nothing. The length of the bed 1oo percent could change the exhaust layout and you still have yet to provide any real documentation of that. Your post is full of arrogance and condescension lol. But hey, not all of us can be perfect I guess. Feel free to keep this banter going and I’ll keep pointing out how you shared no actual factual evidence and you can keep telling me in public forums how awesome you are
