I’ll be needing a 2.5-3” lift for what I need the truck to do. I do a good amount of off-roading to get to certain remote camp sites. I’m running OME heavy rear coils to carry a truck camper. Long story short, I didnt order the Pro in the first place. I had a 1794 on order but after waiting 8 months, a Pro was available at MSRP and I took it. I figured, i could sell some of the parts to make up for what I’m building it to be.

Toyota parts says that divider part number doesn't work with gen3. I see it does. Did you have to do anything particular to make it work?

Any word on the CrewMax sliders with the fill plates? I asked them sometime in December and was told a month-ish.

Def going to check that out. I have the CBi on porch to install and thinking on what winch to get... Hopefully have right tools to modify as needed....

What made you go with that brand instead of the Warn 12k I think you were going to install?

Thanks for posting the Yakima pics. I've been trying to decide between the Overhaul and the Outpost rack. I know the Outpost will be shorter than the cab, but I was curious how tall the Overhaul is in the shortest position relative to the cab. Is yours in the shortest position? also, what length bars?

Thank you for the update. I’ll be putting the Timbrens on for sure but I hope that little “bump” isn’t a noticeable issue. Keep the updates coming.

Part #'s for those who may be interested:

22-23 Tundra Icon Foam Bump Stop Kit - SKU 56113
Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 VS Internal Reservoir Coilover Kit - SKU 58670
Icon Vehicle Dynamics Rear 2.0 VS IR Shock Absorber - SKU 56516
    Toyota TRD UCA's PT985-3431B & PT985-3432B

Should have posted these a while back, but better late than never. Install was relatively easy with the right tools, but I've done this a few times in the past. I did notch the lower control arms as instructed by Icon for clearance at full droop, then gave the area a couple shots of Rustoleum for good measure. Didn't get any pictures of the notching, unfortunately. Easy work though, just a little tedious if you want to make it look nice. If anyone would like to see that, just mention and I can grab some pictures for you. I think the worst part of the install was it being roughly 10 degrees outside, which meant working with the garage door closed and the heater roaring.. Truck hardly fits, so it was a bit tight, but we managed. Father in law was in town, so two extra hands and some motivation certainly didn't hurt.

I attached a photo of some measurements I took after install. The coilovers were not adjusted, and these are straight out of the box results. Tried to get as accurate measurements as I could and used my laser tape to measure from the floor, thru centerline of the hub, to the bottom of the fender flare. Keep in mind the coilovers had not settled at this point, so I may adjust them after a few months and re-align. The new upper controls arms added lots of caster, as expected, and have plenty to spare. All around I am very happy with the results. I drove the truck for a few months in stock fashion, then a few months with a 2.25" ReadyLift level kit (above the top hat - no added pre-load) and now with the Icon setup. The truck drives great, is extremely compliant over rough terrain / potholes and the like, and has a more plush/comfortable ride than either the stock setup or the ReadyLift.

...and to wrap the project up, the Diode Dynamics TRD Pro center grille light bar and replacement fog lights. Both in Amber. These things are BRIGHT. Much brighter than stock, and this is with Amber which is significantly LESS bright than their white counterparts in terms of Lumen output. I hooked them up to my Switch-Pro and will have to make a seperate post about that sometime. Easy peasy, just take your time routing your wire through the engine bay and measure twice, cut once when you mount the panel to your dash.. SDHQ makes a nice 3D printed mount FWIW. I will mention that DD sent an install kit with the wrong sized screws for the grill. Luckily I have a large selection of stainless screws and had exactly what I needed, but I could imagine most people would be high and dry and left pretty upset if they're hardware store was closed or didn't have those screws.. It is also worth noting that DD made right by sending an email out (presumably to everyone who purchased these direct, as I did not reach out to them) offering a replacement hardware kit to anyone who had purchased the center grille light. Anyhow, I'm very pleased with the lights and they do great in the snow / rain / fog

Last, I had some of the matte black door handles to install. I was on the cuff about installing them or not. Only because I was not excited about removing all the door panels. After some debate, I convinced myself by ordering some sound deadening materials. I went with some generic Amazon branded butyl with aluminum liner, and some closed cell foam on top of that. very impressed with the results and well worth the minimal cost. It's just a somewhat laborious task..

The racks are great. Yes, they are in the lowest position now and you barely notice them in the rear view mirror. I bought them for carrying kayaks, so I will need to lift them a little when in use. The cross bars are the 68” set.

The bed cover is awesome. I had a bakflip on my prior truck and loved it, but wanted the rack combination on this one. I have a camper and kayaks, and while pricey, this gave me the most flexibility and access. The track system is great and makes it really easy to add or remove the racks. The slide is really nice too versus flipping and clipping it. I thought about going with the MX, but the full aluminum is nice and solid. No water gets in at all.

I have been considering sound deadening too. How much of an improvement did it make? Did you add a layer inside between the panel too or just on the outer wall? I am going to be putting on some highway miles and would love a little more quiet. How long did it take you to do all four doors?

Thanks! $2267 shipped to my door. Includes a wrench to adjust the coilovers as well. I bought the coilovers and rear shocks from 4WP since they had the best price at the time, and the bump stops were ordered direct from Icon. The Toyota TRD lift kit upper control arms were purchased from Lithia Toyota online and arrived within a week. Somehow I managed to order an extra set of the UCAs and will post them on here for sale at a discount when I have some time. I ordered a set of UCA bolts as well, but they arrived a few weeks late. I'll likely toss this in with the UCAs so they can be put to good use.

I did the outer panel as well as the inside face of the metal panel closest to the door panels. I only put the foam on the outer panel. I lost track of time but I would give it a solid 4 hrs between taking the panels off, cutting and placing all the material, then putting the panels back on. I took my sweet time so I didn't goof anything up, and it was so damn cold I was a little worried about adheasen, so I made sure everything was very clean and secured well to the metal.

Here's what I used, and it was almost exactly enough to complete the entire job. Just a few square feet to spare. Alternatively, you could probably skip that inside metal panel and use that material on the rear cab, behind the seats. I did not do that area, although havent heard too much NVH from that area either.

Nice! That was my worry going from my 08 Double Cab to the 23 Crew Max 5.5, Just tried it out myself and happy with it. Plus can still get two in with my bed extender.

I improved the JBL sound system by unplugging the "subwoofer" behind the back seat.

The sound before was horrible. It sounded so bad I had the dealer look at it and see if they would replace it. They said it wasn't broken its just a crappy speaker. Nothing they could do about it. Even with the bass turned all the way down in the EQ it still just sounded awful. So I unplugged it to see what it would sound like. MUCH better. The bass in the door speakers is adequate and now the audio sounds more well rounded. It won't blow the windows out, but at least now it sounds balanced and not like a crispy rattle box. I recommend anybody with the JBL system unplug the subwoofer. You won't regret it.
