I was able to reuse the TPMS sensors but had to go to ET lug nuts for my aftermarket wheels.

Debating for now. Drives so nice as is. I have a 2007 FJ for all my off road adventures. But I have to admit, looks like it needs a little bigger tire so a lift would be in order!

Is it safe to assume that if the 285/75R18 fit OEM setup (+60 offset) they would fit with an aftermarket wheel running +12 to +20 range offset?

Inquiring minds want to know..what is Limited but Platinum package model? It has normal grille (which i actually like as had to paint Plat grille). Are you just saying it has AVS an running boards? As such pkg doesnt seem to exist as I might have looked hard at that one. Thanks.

I can put a vote in for Continental AT's for highway and towing. Excellent in wet and even on gravel. Not so good in mud/snow more than a couple of inches. Handled and wore extremely well on a different vehicle (Honda Ridgeline)

Right? I'm so confused on it too. But basically it has the following:

    14" display,
    Premium LED headlights (platinum lighting)
    Moonroof
Resr window rolls down (not sure if all do this)
    Premium JBL sound
    Softex leather
    Heated/AC seats
    Qi wireless charging
    Auto bright lights
    And a couple other things.
    Truck liner.

    No running boards. Yes, AVS.
Hope that helps! I just know the dealer told me it is a limited with platinum package. Not the fine line, details kind of guy. So I don't dive into all the package differences. Too many, too confusing.

To the hybrid engine owners..have you noticed quite a speed drop off since changing over to the heavier 35" tires?

I don't have 35s, but I do have 295/60/20s which are close to 34s. They are obviously heavier than the stock tires but the hybrid has plenty of power to handle them. Truck is still quite quick.

Yeah im sure this was brought up before. Sorry!

Yeah I know it will be a bit slower, but how noticeable is all I was wondering. I dont use the truck to speed and dont punch it very much. But its nice having that extra quickness when passing as I highway drive alot on the prairies.

You can definitely feel the weight of the 35's... Not quite as sporty as it used to be on stock tires but still plenty of power, you just need to use the gas pedal more. Still getting used to it, I also went pretty heavy with method 706's and 35" Ko2's i think its about 96 pounds each wheel, stock is something like 65 i think

Yeah that will make a difference for sure. Are you on the Hybrid engine too?
I figured since there is enough torque that I wouldnt notice a HUGE drop off but figured id ask to see what the hybrid guys think that are running 35" tires. I know each brand is a bit different.

Ill keep that in mind thanks guys. Honestly been weighing the pros and cons for me for 35s on my stock TRD Pro.
I know it wont rub much if at all, the main concern is the speedometer, not sure how long itll take for the companies to put something out to recalibrate, im in Canada so im running in KMs too, surprinsgly it doesnt bug most the guys that have changed over to 35s? I know its pretty easy to adjust, and I do have a radar that is GPS based so it tells me my speed as well, but something about the speed being off on a brand new truck bugs my OCD is all. Anyone else feel the same way? If this wasnt an issue I would have changed over by now.

Using the speed calibrator calculator for tire sizes, when I change over it'll be roughly 7km (4.4MPH) difference when going 60MPH.

Ultimately it’s at the discretion of the dealership.

The 295/70/18 will also fit with the stock wheels and suspension on the TRD OR with mudflaps and without pinning back the liner (no rub)

classic dealership… there is no such thing. Do you have a platinum warranty, because that’s a thing! You have a loaded limited (premium package) minus the TRD package, but the platinum only comes in the platinum trim.
