Rotated tires. Might wash it, too. I’m 175 miles from 40k!

Thanks! 275/70R18 Falken Wildpeak AT3W. I will be stepping up to 285/70R18 or 285/75R18 once these wear out.

Very happy with the product and how easy the install was.
I used the foam packaging to get the boards close to the bolt holes for an easy installation.
The other bonus was that I got them on sale through Amazon for $265!!

    Cheers

Thanks for sharing. Good thread. While it's for the chrome piece I've already removed I eventually came across a couple posts about the grey piece. I guess the leather wrapped 1794 and Platinum are a bit different too. It seems I may need to use a bigger drill bit or rotary tool.

I love mine....it should have been that way from the factory. It goes well with my 3rd brake light conversion since I couldnt use my cargo lights.

I am running 275/70/18s as well. But for some reason yours look more stout than mine lol. I too think I’ll jump to 285/70 when mine wear out.

I like my 285/70/18. Want to go bigger but not sure yet. I may leave my 285’s on my pro wheels for the winter and buy new size for the summer to put on my SCS wheels.

Badlands 12k lb winch install. Tight fit! Relocated the control box and was limited by the length of the leads so managed to mount it to the front body cross member using the relocation bracket which is pretty damn stout. Was going to mount it to the bumper, beside the winch, so trimmed the housing but found a better location/fit on the cross member so the trimming was unnecessary (oops).

Buttoning things up tomorrow but the power/line in/line out test went well. First winch install so I'm pretty satisfied overall.

You go with the 5000k or 6000k option? Looking at them now, thanks!

    5000 K
I prefer closer to “white” light than the slight bluish tint of 6000 K

So far, I’ve only used it in my driveway. It’s nice. It jacks my truck up. Seems really well made. It is not nearly as fast as my low profile Daytona, though. Not sure it’s going to replace the Daytona as a garage jack.

Finally back with the rig. Prepping for Baja since we leave Wednesday. The usual bolt checks, fluids etc. Adding extended wheel studs tomorrow. Moved the spare further back in the bed and added his spare. Since he can lose the weight and I could use it over the rear axle

Well lately there has been. I went out to start on the steps today and guess what it was raining again lol. I finally decided to pull the truck into the garage to get started.
    69550564945__83E25A8A-E34F-43A9-A80B-DBA57BE26428.fullsizerender.jpg IMG_4271.jpg
I spent about 6hrs installing the steps by myself. Wasn't too hard of a project to complete, my only complaint is the instructions when it came to the wiring. Luckily its only 4 wires I had to worry about and I found a video on YouTube that helped out. I didn't install the LED lights that are included with the AMP steps, they have a god awful blue hue that doesn't match any of the other LEDs on the truck. So I placed an order for some VLEDS exterior 3in light strips.
