I think I'm gonna disassemble the interior for sound proofing and an audio upgrade in the spring/summer, and may just have my buddy that color matched the front end paint all the silver from the dash, center console and doors at that time, but I'm torn on color. I'll probably keep the little chrome accents as they don't bother me.

Its color is just fine for me outside but not inside. How was your night run last night?

Didn’t go. A home project did what home projects do and went a little sideways, taking 3x longer than it should have.

Me too, I had exposed part of my yard and I knew I had to get it covered before the rain. I started yesterday 8:45am and finished just before 6:00 and I could not see very well. Got ‘er done!!

I started wrapping the HVAC trim rings to rid the chrome but the oem black did not match the vinyl I had ….also the center surround area looked pretty intimidating to wrap…opted to get the oem parts
If prepped properly and done right I think paint would work but my luck I would scratch it reassembling …then

Well I decided to make a jack mount out of extra wood laying around. A little sanding, a little paint, $10.00 of 5mm and 2mm foam and some craft glue from Hobby Lobby and a few decals (thanks to my wife's Cricut), and here are the results. The jack mount is basically an insert that goes into my existing box I made prior.
The base is 1/2" plywood, the ends (where the decals are) are 2x6, and the inside areas (where the handles are) is 5/4 x 2.5"
The jack handle areas have foam on the bottom, sides, ends and on top so the jack sits on the 5mm foam too.
Since the box was in my truck and used a lot last year, I decided to freshen up the paint a little.
This works well for me since I don't plan to keep the jack in the truck at all times.
Not sure if I want to add a strap mount or just run the strap around the base like in the picture.

The insert itself was made to fit inside the box, but the box was made when I bought the truck just to store what ever as we ran errands and stuff. I wanted the box to be moveable and normally keep it closer to the tailgate unless we need more room, then it gets moved towards the front of the bed. To date, the box has served it's purpose well and does not move around at all on rubber bed mat.

Did nothing. Shit weather yesterday so focused on household chores while the lady is out of town for visiting family. Trip was kinda last minute decision by her and her sisters and too short of notice for me to take time off. ‍♂️

Today is this till I have to go pick her up at the airport

Spent 3hrs doing the first hand wash since I bought her. Swear to god they dunked the wheels and tires into a barrel of armor all. This picture was one pass from one tire. Took three passes and two buckets of soap on each one to get them clean enough for now.

Damn, I miss a good cigar. Stopped 2 years ago. It's really tough when camping and sitting around the fire at night. I will live vicariously through you.....what brand was it?

This one is a limited, seasonal run by Diesel called Sunday Gravy. It is a bit milder than most Diesels, more medium than full, and a good 30-45 min smoke, sometimes longer. I keep a supply of these, for now anyway, as long as I can find them.

Took my wife shopping. It still has the same tank of gas from when I retired in September last year. Usually take her car everywhere. EB814F9C-3CD3-480F-B759-A8CF304F9A03.jpg

I bought my 21 new in Sept of 21 and it has just under 7000 miles on it currently. I drive my company truck during the week and get my truck out over the weekend if we go anywhere.

I couldn't figure out an easy way to mount the organizer securely, so I returned it and replaced it with an admin bag. Much better.

Please tell me how you separated the grey trim piece around the shifter. Despite everything else I've disassembled I gave up on that piece. I got the chrome piece no problem.

Yeah, I drilled what were rivets or plastic tabs melted in place. It seemed as if the plastic was all connected besides that, though it doesn't make sense. I'll take a pic next time I'm at the shop. Haven't had a chance to work on it for a few days unfortunately.
