hmmmm My truck doesn't have that horizontal piece you mounted to. I went out and looked and the screw mounts are there but no rail. Maybe the original owners removed it. I think I have that same light and was looking for a place to put it. Once I find a replacement for that rail I think I'm going to mount there as well. Thanks for sharing.

Just dug out this large pile of wet leaves from behind this rubber grommet at the driver side door. Still more in there I can’t get to. Passenger side was clean. Thought that was interesting.

Added some backer rod to stop wind noise on Nissan Titan window, back in 2009, was just thinking it could be used here as well.

Would still allow water through, keep big stuff out .. while providing some insulation.

Im embarrassed to say this worked. I can run all kinds of electrical components, swap suspension & wheels, add a bumper….. but I can’t remember that when something goes wrong, 9 times out of 10 it’s probably just a fuse. Thanks for saving me $200 with the stealership!

Cleaned the interior of the truck today. I have been leaving the truck at home with the wife and kids and driving the more efficient pathfinder for the past few months to work. Having a 17 month and a 4 year old, there was a lot of crumbs all over the place.

Nice. I still need to get one for mine. My power supply that I added to the bed worked awesome...I used it last weekend for the 1st time. I have had the Nilight kit since Nov 2021. Works great!

Same kit i did. I am going to rework my switch when it warms. The power leads fit up through a nook behind the tail lights, then connect to the splitter behind the spare tire (inside the rear bed support), then feed back up behind the driverside tail light where I ran my 10g hot wire. The ground is connected to the tailgate strap bolt. I copied @garciahomes for now and doublesided the niilight switch in the tailgate gap. It was 35 degrees, so my wiring was fast and dirty.

Put my original grille back on. Installed some foreign aftermarket POS "TRD PRO" grille that didn't allow the TSS sensor to function. Lesson learned.

That's irritating for sure. I had a lesson learned myself several months ago with a T-Rex grill. Now it's an $800 paper weight.

With the good comes the bad I suppose, mods are fun until they're not with costly mistakes.

Oh man I'd make you an offer on it, but that's probably going to be a mod I do a couple years on. Can it be modified to work?

Yeah ran power to my accessory fused powerblock next to the battery via the hole by the driver taillight through the bedside over the wheelwell over the frame into the driver side engine compartment.

My "hotwire" is on a fused power block near the battery for now. The wire is inside wire loom in the driverside frame rail front to back. The power block is also temporary until I can figure out a more permanent solution I like.

I know a lot of folks are attaching to the fuse panel lid, but it just doesn't sit well with me, so for now things are "secured".

I ran mine to the license plate light and I have a switch that fits the factory hole in the bed. I have to turn my parking lights on for power so I know that they will never get left on.
