I have spent weeks looking at Lift options for my truck and having no real knowledge on the subject the struggle is real.

Here is what I am planning on so far.

    Toyo AT2's 295/70/18
    Black rhino warlord wheels18"
Ionic black 51 series running boards.

I originally was thinking a 3/1 leveling kit with spacers but after reading about towing and quality/ride/longevity I am now torn. Now leaning towards some billstein 5100's in front and no idea about back.

    Help a brother out.

    Some questions I have.

What is stock stance on 13 crewmax? Will 2.5 lift in front level it?

Will billstein 5100 go higher than 2.5 inches?
Do I do billstein 5100's in front and rear or just front and spacer or shackles in back?

Any advice is welcome and thanks.

If you want to save a few $ and still want 3" lift and be somewhat level, the OME setup is nice. Mine gets a workout almost every weekend now until end of hunting season this fall. Works quite well for me. Call ToyTec. Tell them your budget. ToyTec says 2.5" but easily 3". Stay away from spacer lift/level unless you never go off the road.

Thanks guys. So if I do 1 inch in the back and am loaded up will it still set level? Plan on buying a travel trailer in a year and want to try and sit level with it on.

I'll second the OME lift. I had it on my 99 4Runner, 00 Disco and 10 Tacoma. I plan on getting it for my Tundra as well.

Is there any maintenance needed with these lifts over life of truck? Plan on keeping the truck until it dies.

I have an Add-a-leaf on the rear springs. Truck sat level with no load. Added nuke proof ToyTec shackles to regain some rake. Truck rides level with a decent load in the back. Adding air bags at some point.

If you go with ToyTec they recommend cleaning the springs and shocks at the same time you do oil changes. That's it.

^^^^ What he said. Then every spring I will spray the OME rear spring pack with a rust inhibitor and a little graphite spray on the bushings (ya I'm a geek)

I do plan on losing my OEM springs and AAL at some point and complete the setup with the OME leaf pack.

On another post I saw people talking about rubbing and having to hack at the CMC or something like that. Guessing any decent shop will fix rubbing it it's an issue.

Also with these kits that are adjustable does anyone actual adjust them from time to time or just a benefit that is not really used?

You might not need to do that since you're going a 34" tire. Just a skid plate trim and mud flaps removal. Should be golden.
It's a good benefit to have but not needed. It helps with truck lean and if you're in the mood to go higher or lower, you can always crank it to your liking.

I'm cranking mine up to 3.5 when I get bigger tires.

My stock springs are 10 years old now and will have to be replaced at some point. The OME spring packs give you rear lift to complement the OME front setup. My AAL and shackle combo suffices quite well for now.

On my Tacoma I had a true lift, maybe that is an inaccurate description. With the OME spring pack there was no need for a 1"block or add a leaf to lift the rear. It also seemed to do well on and off road and it hasn't sagged in the rear yet. Pricier yes, buy once cry once.

Once you get them to the height you want, you really won't touch the height until you make some changes. But is really good to adjust for the Toyota lean.

Is this something you can do easily with a turn and a took or take of wheels etc?

    What is the CMC?
