    Since giving up on Landcruisers and 1st Gen Broncos to due the insainity of cost- just got my first 1st Gen Tundra Home this week. It is a one owner cream puff with zero rust and 101k on the clock. I think I am going to like this little truck drives and rides like a new rig!

    That's one of my favorite colors. Just sucks when the clearcoat fails.

    Welcome to the forum, if the frame is clean and timing belt has been done in the last 10 years, great find! Can't recommend enough checking this thread if you're new to the 1st Gen Tundras.

    I'd love a J100, but I hear you on the $$$ factor. Buy-in price is waaaay too rich for my blood.

    Thanks and yes - the timing belt and water pump just completed 1500 miles ago.
    Never thought I would be excited about a 1st Gen Tundra but I am digging the heck out of it already and looking into mild mods. The madness is already begining....

    Clean = SCORE !!!!
    Pick up a bottle of Griots Garage 3 in 1 Ceramic Wax and follow their prep instructions.
    Very easy to do/ use, and I've been blown away how well it has held up.

    Dead stock with oem 16" starfish wheels. We'll see how long that lasts. :) Topper of unknown origin.
    Nice truck you got there. After a few years I still haven't made any notable mods to mine, even the forged starfish wheels have grown on me. The Tundra just works so darn well. I think you'll like yours a lot.

    Looks like the same spec as mine. You'll get many good years out of it. Welcome!

    Hadn't really noticed but I think we have the same brand old man topper.

    Those high-top caps are sought after, man. Seems like they're way more popular ever since overlanding/outdoor camping became big during the pandemic.

    They're ugly as can be but mine is so practical. Got real lucky since mine came with my truck already painted.

    Congrats on the new ride, looks great. Any plans to have it undercoated or don't you need that where you live? Welcome from the rust belt.....

    Great find, enjoy! And I hear you on the Land Cruisers! Been looking hard at 80 series and just threw in the towel. Timing is not right, but damn they are sexy!

    Nice truck. Suggested mods are upgraded audio headunit, differential breather relocation and maybe lights.
