Get back to me when you go down to the Ram dealer to get the actual number. Plot spoiler: it will be much higher.

Not interested in a Ram. Heard they weren’t selling well around here with lots on the lots so I check every once in a blue moon.

I get it. All dealers suck and cheat. Chrysler dealers are very special. Still rooted in sub prime loans to Charger and Challenger buyer

I suspect the reason many domestics lose so much value driving off the lot is due to inflated MSRP. Pre-pandemic, discounts like that were common because it reflected the actual value.

I have my tundra estimated to arrive in a couple weeks here in orange county california. Its a 23 limited crewmax hybrid 4x4 with the offroad package digital gauge cluster, pano roof... 70k is the price before taxes (7.75 here). This feels like a jacked up price, especially with all the msrp deals people are getting. Tempted to back out of deal and wait it out for a bit because I don't feel like this is a good deal, some are paying less for trd pros....

I guess it depends it you are willing to travel. We had dealers around here that were under msrp last month that are now back up to msrp. Merry Christmas. I wish I could figure it out.

If I could avoid the 5k markup I'd definitely make a trip.

Yea, 70k is at MSRP TRD Pro money. Thats what I paid for my Pro. For what you are getting in the Hybrid Limited, I would be expecting closer to 10k less that number. I would wait for a MSRP TRD Pro if you are going to spend that much.

Around here, hybrid Tundra are getting the steepest markups.

On a side note, apples to oranges, but I just realized the cost for my new tundra is the same price as a brand new porsche macan s lol, seriously wtf.

A few years back before I could afford something like the Tundra, I did look at Macan S's. About 5-6 years ago I think they were in the 60k range with the Porsche level maintenance costs to go with them. The lower models I consider oversized GTIs. Heck, they use the same engine, and the interior space is almost identical. I decided against them and waited a few more years. I could have probably bought a used GT-R, my dream car, for the cost of the TRD Pro. But I'm getting older, and don't prefer crawling into and out of high-performance cars no matter how fun they are. I would like to re-live those JDM days of the 2000s, but as you know Cali, does not make that fun at all. I'll just keep my 03 Lancer Evo for my toss around car.

ADM is 6-8k on Limited at the dealer I am looking at in AZ. (6k non-hybrid, 8k hybrid).

I am looking at an Army Green 23, Limited and it's negotiated to $4300 ADM. Threw them accessory options (TRD Lift Kit, Chrome Delete) and will basically ask them to throw that in or remove the ADM. It's likely I keep searching.

Obviously, it's your choice but I would not pay 70K for a limited. Nor would I pay above MSRP.I know for sure if you can hold on a little longer, it will get sweeter. I paid about $500 under MSRP, but I am in TX. I'm sure the market in Cali is very different.

Also trying to hit 100% bonus depreciation for business use before it drops to 80% in 2023, hence the timeline

Did you get a 2WD? I know 2WD is more popular in TX, AZ, CA and NV.

Here in WA state I can get a 2WD for nearly $2k under MSRP (however, they aren't common, most are 4WD) and the 4x4's are being listed above MSRP. I have a feeling they'd negotiate down, but as far as advertising I don't think anyone wants to admit that prices could be lower

Yes, I did get a 2WD. I think the 4WD may have a markup, but it just depends on the dealer.

Are the things listed in the image what are considered dealer add-ons that I should not have paid for? Or are they items that are part of the MSRP?
I purchased on November 22nd. I didn't want the Toyota vehicle protection package, or the tailgate inserts, but my wife wanted the running boards and carpet mats. We paid less than the total price as built listed. But more than the price before adding on the carpet mats and running boards.

Coming from a family with a small budget, this was a huge hit to our pocketbooks and I am having buyer's remorse mixed in with our excitement. LOL

From my experience all of those should be OEM except the vehicle protection package which is usually a wax job every 6 months for x amount of years.

all weather floor mats and bed liner are nice.

make sure those premium mats are the rubber all weather oem mats!!

All of the accessories listed are Port Installed Options and can be removed if requested before the vehicle arrives at the port. Some dealers will not request for those items to be removed. They will simply tell you that the items can't be removed. I know this is not true because I have purchased several Tundras over the years and I always ask for certain items to be removed and I usually add an item or two. The premium mats listed are not all weather, as they are listed as carpet.

Hybrid, but 2wd. 2wd are hard to sell in the PNW.

I bought my 22 TRD Sport Premium in GA for $4500 under in late October. There are some deals here and there. I think you got to get out of the big cities and surrounding suburbs where salaries support $5k over list as if it were mere pennies and inventory is non-existent I had same experience co-shopping Rams not so much in price but good color/option combos. There are smaller dealers out there that don't get into the bait and switch games on Autotrader, etc. You got to find them yourselves and go to their websites.

I factory ordered my 22’ Ram 2500 Cummins from Mark Dodge in Luisiana for 9k off sticker.. waited 4mo for it.. I got it to tow a boat i was about to buy.. plans changed and i never got the boat so i don’t need a diesel.. looking for a dealer that will sell me a Limited Premium Off-Road for under sticker hopefully it’ll be an even swap.. wishful thinking perhaps but i got a good enough deal so my depreciation shouldn’t be a big hit I should break even

One of the Eugene dealers was 3,200-3,800 below msrp up until a few weeks ago. Now closer to $1k below. Probably due to lots of small business owners needing rigs asap.

Some Oregon/Washington dealers won't sell out of county or out of state. Nevada dealers didn't seem to mind but Oregon/Washington got my hopes up and then nope you in Cali - sorry....
