Wanting to add power socket ports (cigarrette + USB) to truck bed, and wanted to get a sanity check...

I am familiar with running "always on" power to the truck bed as I already have truck bed lights w/ switch in the back; however, my "requirements" (aka desire) for this current modification is a little bit more specialized. I basically want:
    • Power sockets that turn on ONLY when the truck is on, but...

    • Can also be turned to "always on" via switch in case I want to use them without turning the truck on; this switch would otherwise be left in "Off" position 99% of the time
Would this wiring diagram work for that?

    Alot of them
I run a Blue Sea system in mine. The power is always hot to the rear of the truck for use without the truck needing to be running. The panel has a circuit breaker on it to turn the ports on and off.

Hello and thanks for your input

I am wanting the power sockets to run only when the car is Key'd on, but be able to "override" this through the use of a switch (which would otherwise be left in "OFF" position, by default).

    Reasons:
I already currently have "Always On" power ports in the truck bed (controlled by a switch). But my current life style is such that 99.99999% of the time, I have a lot of devices charging the truck bed. Since I don't want to run my batteries down, I always have to go and manually turn the switch ON/OFF whenever I turn the truck on/off. And ofc, I've forgotten to do so a few times, which sucks for obviously reasons. So this is the main reason I want the power ports to turn ON/OFF by turning the truck on/off as well (by default)... but also have the ability to switch them ON even if the truck is off, in the rare chance I need that option.

Looks like it should work, the relay controls the keyed power and the switch controls the always on power.

Exactly the confirmation I'm looking for. For some reason, this is the first time I've ever had to use a relay, so I had no idea if I even had just that part down.

    Thanks so much!
