I agree 100% on this. I think the fuel system purchase is more along the liability lines.

I'm thinking of doing the return line with this. I think Viktor said in his vid one of the downsides to not doing so was a longer start??

well damn...I'm wondering if I should see about returning the Prospeed injectors and ordering the other Five-O Denso injectors instead. I'll see what my return and new order delivery periods would be. If $100 extra bucks saves me that headache I'm happy to do it. I was wondering about those extensions too, and I'd definitely want to splice them down to clean up the look.

We'll I'll either have two set's of different 750cc injectors to compare pretty soon or someone is gonna get a great deal on a set of prospeed's lol. I won't lie...i'm a few glasses of whiskey and apple juice into the night. But I can't find any return policy listed on prospeed's website. And I ordered it using Google Pay, so there should be some sort of protection through that. But I think I clicked all the way through the Five-o order....that was dumb

I’m not sure if all the years were like mine but the return line that connects down at the gas tank was smaller than 5/16”. So I replaced the return line with a main line so I could use those 5/16” male fittings because I couldn’t find any like that were smaller than 5/16”

I ask because I looked to see if there was Gold, but then I saw the added cost for anything other than Black, but had to ask anyway.

Getting blowout in 4rth gear with the IHK 24 gapped at .029, so I’m going to give those Ruthenium plugs a go.

You mean you’re getting a misfire? And did you gap the plugs? I read to never gap iridium plugs.

Edit: I realize now you mean its a blowing the spark out.

They said the compression blows out the spark and causes a misfire. But no they came gapped at .029. Figured that was already on the lower side so trying plugs for forced induction might be worth a try. It feels exactly like when I maxed out the air. Real violent and jerky.

I hope you get it sorted! I saw Shrek from DAP say before that he sometimes gaps the IKH24s to .020-.022, and over 10psi he said he uses an IKH 26 gapped at .018. I guess there’s a lot of conflicting info on the subject depending on who you ask and what day you ask them lol.

The ruthenium’s come at .031 I wonder if I should gap them closer to .020? I had a couple successful 4rth gear pulls without issue and the one time I glanced at my gauge I was at 10-11psi. It’s says it peaked at 11.6. I wish I could integrate the boost gauge with Hpt. Just for reference

Nvm NGK doesn’t make a ruthenium for our truck in the required heat range. Their ruthenium plug would be equivalent to IKH 20 according to denso’s heat range comparison chart. So I’m going to gap these 24’s down to .021 and see what happens.

What about the NGK TR6? We used to run those in the lightnings and cobras zero issues. Not apple to apples but similar boosted applications

Never looked into it before but checked on the part number I ordered and it's NGK7, equivalent to the IHK 22

NGK told me that P/N wouldn’t work for my truck. He said something about something being hollow shell I think. There’s another part number that they have that matches the tundra but it’s for heat range 6 on their site and he told me that plug would be too hot.

I guess we'll find out! I have them waiting to go into my Tundra. I've no idea about the hollow shell thing...I just know that the Tundra and Tacoma use the same spark plug for boosted apps, and that this is the Ruthenium part number myself and others on Tacomaworld swapped over to with beneficial results.

Ya let me know. I just drove around and romped on it after gapping to .021 and I didn’t get any issues.. so fingers crossed. I’ll probably test it some more tomorrow because it’s nice out so I’ll be on the ZX-10 the rest of the day.
