I needed an excuse to pick one up. When this one breaks after 2 uses I’ll go to Harbor Freight.

I use mine for setting pistol sights - get them centered on the slide using the probe end of the calipers registered off the side of the slide.

When I’m finally spending money on optics and other rifle accessories, I’ll splurge and spend the cash for a $30 caliper

Had that CD in high school. I think track 1, “big leagues” is fitting for this occasion.

edit: just checked YouTube. They have nine subscribers.. and I’m one of them. Big Tyme-in!

Forgot to add this one - scored a SwingCase this week. The latch rod was missing a guide to keep it in place, but a quick spelunk through my hoard provided a fix. It’s nice getting some of the bulky stuff out from under my seat and into the bed.

Looks so much cleaner than my zip tied Plano Swing Trunk.

I might think about modding the mount for one of those to fit with my TC bed stiffeners.

Had an issue with my DD Stealth bar but Colton @memario1214 got me squared away super fast with a replacement. I was able to get it installed tonight with some modifications to the DD brackets, which should do the trick until he gets his dialed in and ready for production. Gonna need another sunset/night run soon!

I'm still waiting for @TRDFerguson to install the seats and live well in the bed so we can go out. I hear they're pulling in some nice sand trout out of the Pantano wash down here in Tucson.

We've gotten pretty good at running down to Saguaro (cove 3 I think?) pretty quick from the far staging area on Four Peaks/Cline Cabin Rd. We've also run Bulldog Canyon several times. We were talking about heading down to the Florence Box Canyon again for a night run.

Residential ice, is ok if it’s cloudy.
Your ice from circle jerk or at a bar SHOULD be clear, if it’s not, that means there are impurities(calcium, hard water) and the machine probably needs to be cleaned.
Again, NEVER GET ICE FROM SUBWAY!!!

Specially filtered water or torch makes the ice clear. I used to bartend in Vegas in my youth.

Torch? I used to be(damn has been) a low temp reefer tech, and did a lot of ice machines, mostly commercial restaurant type situation. I think industrial ice freezes at a lower temp, so more air is incorporated with the ice, thus more cloudy, like the stuff you buy bagged at the grocery store(unless they have self contained unit on top of that ice bag freezer, those are sweet!)

0726A466-D44E-42EC-BDF9-F727329C18CA.jpg I have had my truck held hostage in my garage, I can get it out today. Just had pavers installed and when they removed the old driveway they pulled up the main water line. I have been digging for 6 days and rerouted the “schedule 20 PVC” line that was 2” below the ground with the heaviest copper tubing they make. The new route is way less than half the length the old line did.

Because of that the driveway was done last instead of first like the original plan. It looks like it is grounded and cannot come out to play

Of course I could but then that would not be the best financial decision I made. That would make the driveway process longer to fix it and eat into the painters time when he starts. They are both out as of yesterday

I wanted to give the ProEagle extension retrofit a shot on my Husky 3-ton floor jack. The plate ended up fitting perfectly and now I have some useable range finally.

However, while rotating my tires I found out I bent the inner lip on one of the wheels. It’s still holding air, but seemed like a good excuse to pick up a fresh wheel and move that one to the spare to give me a matching set. Raceline was running 15% off for Cyber Monday, so that stung less than I was expecting.

Then tonight I knocked out some under hood lighting, thanks to @BiggHertz schematics from his project. It includes a light up latching push button switch, with the switch’s LED controlled by a hood pin to make it easy to find in the dark. Two KC Cyclones light up the engine back nicely.
