Looks like a nice setup. I like it. Also, how high of a lift do you have? I’m thinking of 37’s but not sure if my 3.5” lift will be able to fit them.

Where would one acquire those angular cam washers? Do they come in a kit?

My apologies if I missed it…

Yes, thanks for answering that! I’ve been running it since the first of the year, and I’m pleasantly surprised at the design and quality of this bumper, for the price. And most importantly it gave me the clearance I needed for the jump in tire size

yeah you want both cam bolts loose to make the adjustment. And then lower the truck to the ground so it’s resting on the wheels and the arms are in their ride height position. Then torque the bolts down to 210 lb ft on the ground. Of you torque the bolts while it’s in the air, you put the bushings into bind when you set the truck down.

These are from Bison Off Road. You can also weld the slots closed but I wanted future adjustability for when I invariably fuck something else up. LoL

Pinch weld cut, welded, sealed, and rubberized with some undercoating. Inner liner trimmed as little as possible after a chalk test. Alignment done (pushed caster as far forward as is reasonable to stay within specs). No rubbing now at full lock with compression. I still don't like the BMC the shop did and my Coastal Offroad plates/bumpstop spacers showed up so I'll be redoing those in the next week. Also got some mockups with some 23GA sheet metal to create some plates I'll tack in and seal to prevent stuff from getting into the rocker section since the liner was trimmed ever so slightly and exposed it.

Bring that thing to Tundras to Sedona so we can get a solid look at it - looks well put together.

@Vizsla did the f85 mini pack make the rear suspension softer or stiffer? More progressive or linear? I'm guessing that replacing the overload spring would make it more linear. Thanks in advance.

    Not sure at this point.
Just picked up some used STT Pros… decent tread and an unused spare. About 10/32 all around, only thing is that it’s a 13.50.

Wondering if that .5” on each side is gonna be ok with what I have trimmed out for 12.50, lol.

Guess we’ll just have to see. Was thinking of using my Grabber X3, but seeing that these are about the same treads as my Toyo when I first got them, may be worth while for $200…

Man, they’re fat!!! How often are you guys rotating? I’m wondering if I should start rotating around 2500. One of my Toyo ended up wearing faster than the other 3…

I’d need to know more about your overall setup (which UCAs, current tires, wheel offset and width, how much trimming did you already do, what caster, blah blah blah), but we ran 37x13.5 as our first set of 37s, and that was on stock UCA with -25 offset 9.5” wide wheel. Just takes some trimming.

Bwuahaha, don't worry Kevin - I have those all done. I'm just wondering how close it'll be with 12 offset and 13.5. It doesn't seem like I'm going to be hitting much, but I just have to mount it and then figure out if I'll have to cut a little more off the front bumper caps.

I'm sitting at 6.7* caster right now.

I've heard people doing 5k rotations. I've also heard people not rotating at all and have had zero issues.

6" Procomp Stage 2 lift Black Rhino Sierra 20x10 0 offset on 325x65x20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers Smitty Built M1 front grill
    Update:

My last hoorah with this truck so i decided to throw on 37's because they were the same price for 35s lol.

Issues: rubbed at full lock. Rubbed slightly in reverse on bumper.
Fix: Full BMC done myself and modded the front bumper tabs that were touching while flexing in reverse. No more rub.
while on the lift i noticed components are completely worn out. UCA balljoints, outer tie rod bushings and my rear blocks have shifted on the rear axles.

Im gunna need to have some work done so heres my thoughts

The stage 2 6" pro comp is designed to use OEM UCA... Well I've had the lift since 2015 and the joints are shot.

    Questions:
What UCA will work with the 6inch procomp. Do i have to get fully adjustable billet ICON, CAMBURG etc or will tubular ICON, SPC TOTAL CHOAS work? I know some guys here know and will chime in.

Is there a leaf package that i can eliminate the blocks?? Deaver? ICON RXT or any other brand?

Note: im planning on updating the front to full coilover and adding new rear shocks as well

-I'd go for SPC in your case... but wait for someone to confirm.

-RXT's lift 1.75"-4", more lift in this pack usually means you want to carrying more weight, ride may be affected when unladen (if you get this one, change the bushings to poly)
Deavers lift 1-2" depending on the pack (light vs medium duty), so basically any of those can help eliminate the block lift. All Deaver packs require a compatible set of shackles to work.
Lift shackles will affect when bump stops engage, be sure you don't destroy your shocks.

Assuming you’ve got 4” blocks. The RXTs appear to be the obvious choice but that's with literally no weight in the bed. The RXTs will eventually settle and be lower - unless you like the ass down look - not judging. All the other leaf packs you listed don't even come close to providing the height you had with the blocks. I'd go with custom, either Deaver or Alcans.

On somewhat of a budget I went SPC/RXT to ditch the blocks. RC coilovers and shocks with Firestone airbags(existing)/ Daystar cradles, Wheeler's super bumps.

With the coilovers adjusted and an empty bed with cap +1/2 tank of fuel I sat at +3/4" of rake in the rear.

With tools and gear(300lb) and a full 46g tank it sits level with 12psi & 5psi on the bags( driver/ pass.) Cradles on 2" Firestone spacers. 27" axle to fender well x4.

SPC's "E" setting gives me +2° caster when aligned and clearance at full lock. "D" gave me +3° caster but had slight contact at full lock( body mount and tie rod end/ coilover spring perch).

<------work/ play truck on 37's. Compromises....

Had I had work scheduled in Moab I would have gone Alcan, they're in Junction CO.

Hope this helps. The ride is fantastic compared to before.

Also replaced LCA's w/ OEM and new ProComp tie rod ends.

I'm personally a fan of the raked look because I still use my truck for towing and hauling on occasion. I have about a 4 inch lift with my leaf springs and I have shackles that can add 1-3 inches of lift on top. I have them on 1" lift right now, but plan on lifting the front and back another inch or two.

In hindsight, I wish I put in airbags, but I went a different route. I put in sumo springs (black version) which didn't do anything because of the 4 to 5 inches of lift. I then bought a 4 inch spacer designed for airbags and fit it to my sumo springs. It works great when I need it because I get the natural raked look of a truck and it sits about level with about a ton of weight in the back. I'm a big fan of the leaf/shackle lift and a supportive airbag if you need the support for towing/hauling. It works great and the truck tows and hauls so much better than stock.

I have SPCs on the front but haven't had them adjusted and aligned yet, but they are very customizable so I think they would be a great choice for the front!

I spoke with Jeff @ deaver and he's a great guy. Advised for my setup their medium duty #U748 4 inch 10 leaf package with a coach builder shackle 1.50 or greater and found that they have a 1.75 shackle.

These Baja boss MT’s are amazing. I don’t plan on any other tire for this thing. Snow, dirt, sand, mud, rain these have exceeded my expectations.

From the back they look like 39s the way the bumper and fenders cut lol
