I installed some aftermarket tail lights on my 15' sr5 and tested them, they worked fine. After I got them all installed I went to test again and my back up camera won't turn on and my reverse lights won't turn on. Any ideas on the issue?

That was my first guess. Not sure which fuse would power both the back up camera and the tail light reverse lights. Any idea?

And deeper, why would it pop in the first place?

Thanks so much! I'll check them out. Fingers crossed it's just a fuse and that it won't pop again.

Smart man. I should have done that. And will in the future. I'll find out within the next 2 hours.

Ok so it was 24 that was blown the 7.5, fixed the back up cam!....but what happened before I changed it on my way to work was a check engine light and my in dash display says traction control off, pressing the button was no change.

Hey I have a problem that is the same one as yours. I already found the blown fuse that fixed my back up camera and reverse lights but the check engine light is on and the traction off is on. Have you fixed the problem yet?

Have either of you tried disconnecting the battery terminal to reset the electrical components since blowing the fuse?

Hi guys, so I don’t have a tundra but I have a first GEN Sequoia and I heard they are very similar to the first GEN tundras. I have been experience a similar issue. Every time I go into reverse it pops. The gauge fuse and my reverse lights are also not working, I replace the fuse every time it pops, and it fixes the turn signals, the air conditioner, the speedometer, but it’s not fixing the actual reverse lights. I’ve been doing some digging, and I seen that it could be the neutral safety switch since I have an automatic transmission but I’m not sure what else it could be. … my aftermarket reverse back up camera is also not working.
