How was the clearance in the rear of the wheel well ? I have +40 mm which is 20mm further out than stock which is just shy of an 1” so it should be pretty similar situation. I have a CBI bumper so the front isn’t a problem. Thanks!

You'll definitely need to remove that little mudflap and then you should have no problems. I didn't need to trim anything in the rear of the wheel well.

Okay good to know. I’m good on the front because I have a CBI. My concern was the rear of the well. Thanks!

You will have no issue in the rear, rear easily fits 35inch tires stock.

Has anyone thought about running 33x12:50 tires before they decided on 295/70/18’s. Or were they too wide for your decision? I have chatted with some that love the 33x12:50 size.

I'd think that there'd be rubbing issues on the UCA from the 33x12.5 since some folks are saying that certain brands are rubbing w/just the 295s; at least with a simple leveling kit or stock PRO for example.

Personally, I wouldn't do a 12.5 on an 18x9 wheel either. I believe that tire is too wide for 9" wheel (IMO) under normal circumstances and even more so when airing down :notsure:

I don’t think it will be issue if you are running aftermarket wheel with a more off set like SCS wheels. I just not sure if I want that fatter tire over 295. Thanks. Also with my Pro will have the westcott lift added.

2012 trd off road. 295 70r18 mud tires. Stock everything! No problems at all!!
Just had to trim the corners off the skid plate.
Lift ain't gonna do shit - all about clearance in front wheel well & upper control arm.
Didn't even have to remove the little front mud flap!

Minor rubbing had to take off front mudguards and push fender in drill new holes super easy. Love them so far.

Strange, I thought 295/70s didn't rub the swaybar with stock wheels? Yes, I'd suggest at least 25mm offset... it's hard to find 30-40mm but that would be ideal. Or get some quality 1" or 1.25" spacers. Less offset will give you clearance issues fore and aft.

    My experience so far:

Falcon shocks set to the level setting in front
    High clearance front bumper
    No skid plate
    Icon 18x9 +25 offset

    Falken AT3w 295/70/18

No rubbing that I can detect at this time.

Just went from 285/70/18's to 295/70/18's. What are you guys running for pressure and does it take a little while for the mpgs to level out after changing tire sizes?

You went from 285/75r18 to 295/70r18? What tires?

MPGs to "level out"... I'm not sure what that means but I'm pretty sure the answer is no.

I run my 325/65r18s at 38psi front and 32 rear. That's a little more than necessary, so that's probably ballpark for 295s.
