I was looking to do 1st oil change on my used 2017 tundra and although I've only driven 400 miles since purchase was looking to change oil mainly because I'm not very trusting on the quality of oil change I received from the Nissan dealer or type of oil they used before I purchased the truck.... I noticed when trying out my current oil funnel that it was not very stable and did not want to have oil all over engine on backflow or it to fall out when pouring so I was looking at oil fill funnels....I ran across one from MotivX (VERY PRICEY ) and was wondering if it was good quality and lasted or if someone found a better option at Walmart etc....?

a screw on funnel is the best, motivx or something is what I use, i bought the kit, not cheap but its totally worth it especially with the other products it comes with.

The design of some engines is brain dead: can't reach the filter, can't pour oil without spilling.

On my 2015, and I'm guessing your 2017 is the same, I can pour directly from the bottle into the opening. No funnel required!

(pouring exactly 7.9 quarts for an oil change is a different story...)

Or something broken. Toyota owners worry about funnels while the 3 domestics wonder how long til their truck is fixed.

I never knew a screw on filter existed, but it’ll probably be included in my next oil and filter purchase.

I’ve been using the Snap-on threaded funnel for Toyota for years now. Sure, it was expensive, but I haven’t spilled a drop during oil changes since. Having all Toyotas in the house, it’s probably saved close to it’s purchase price in oil and shop towels over the years, I haven’t had to smell oil smoke after oil ran under the plastic engine cover onto the exhaust manifold (not Tundra) and if nothing else, using it makes me happy.

Matco makes a really nice one but 3 times more expensive than this Amazon one. Fits pretty much anything quickly.

Better than another, "what are the best headlights to get?" or "do I need a harness to make these headlights work?".
