In Canada it is limited and up I believe. Limited comes with the standard 9 Speaker system as per toyota.ca. Don't believe there is an upgrade option for the JBL either.

Correct me if I am wrong

I’m not a 3rd gen owner, so take this with a grain of salt.

Things I like about the 3rd gen:
    • better fuel economy
    • low end torque
    • more payload (even if it’s not that much)
    • rear locker option (but WHHHHHYYYYY is it only available in 4Lo?!)

Things I think they went the wrong way with:
    • visibility (a bigger deal in person than looking at specs online)
    • worse approach angle
    • worse turning radius
    • seems more focused on tech and comfort
    • not big enough gains in the #1 and #2 complaints about the 2nd gen (fuel economy and payload)

My 2nd gen is slower, it isn’t as impressive on tech, it isn’t as flashy, but it just does everything with absolutely zero fuss and feels like it will continue to do so for as long as I care to keep it. This is worth a LOT to me, even though I really like the 3rd gens. I feel like I would miss that rock solid dependability feeling in a far more complicated truck.

    Just my two cents.

That is what my personal Toyota dealership told me was limited and up with premium audio

You have the exact same issues with moving up as I do, after 3 5.7 with zero issues I’m hesitant on that alone. The interior just seems smaller to me, anyone that rides back seat in current “wow it’s so roomy back here”.
Tech isn’t a selling point as I have gutted out all stock components that way anyways with $5k stereo/ remote start / trailer braking / rear airbags.

Actually, DCs don't have it on by default for the premium audio, just the CrewMax... It can be turned of by Dealer or Carista.

A little off topic but up here in Calgary, friend of mine went to the dealership over the weekend and asked about a new Sequoia - was told 3-4 years to get one if "ordered" now.

Picked it up last week. SR5 in midnight black with the advanced off-road tech package, premium audio package, TRD off-road premium package, heated steering wheel, all-weather mats, wheel locks, and the chrome tailgate insert. I originally asked for one with just the premium off-road and convenience package, but this is what they offered me so I took it. It now has predator steps and a bak revolver x4s tonneau.

Another random question, Is it worth me waiting more for Wind Chill or is ice cap still sexy enough?

The reason I ask, my Toyota dealership said that my almost perfect model is being built. Limited 4x4 Trd premium hybrid but ice cap.
I love my current Tundra so I am in no rush at all but it does sound nice to be just done with it.

Ice cap if I’m not mistaken is replacing the wind chill.’

I though that too until I jumped on Toyota’s website and it showed both as a option. When you flip colors the wind chill turns a slight blue hue in color.

Ice cap is the new name for super white .

it’s the same single stage white that chips easily. My TRD pro was ice cap and chipped like crazy with just 2k miles.

Either PPF it or get the windchill tri coat.

Right on point here. Didn't realize that super white had this track record, but its true. There's a 50/50 chance that when I wipe off sap, that it'll take a piece of paint with it.

Dang cause it’s the only one coming in fro awhile, according to our group we aren’t getting a wind chill for extremely long…… I may break down and see if it’s what I want. I guess that’s a benefit for working for a automotive group

If you go the PPF route, you’d better have deep pockets. Looking at $2000+ for front alone or around $7K for the whole truck…average.

Guy here in Pensacola quoted me $10k for a Raptor:bananadead:

They estimate off square footage. Full body PPF should average around $7k.

Curious dutch2112, do you know why? After waiting 7 months I finally got my build date (today) but couldn't get the Wind Chill Pearl that I wanted...instead had to go with my 2nd choice MGM.:annoyed:
