Do I get my gold star mailed to me?! You’re actually the man I wanted to talk to! Just bought a 21’ 3000lb(dry) travel trailer and looking to change out my mt’s for at’s. I’m looking at the falcon at3w in 285/75r17. Any thoughts or insight?

Check the weight to competing tires. Wild Peaks are great tires…but heavy. The Wild Peaks are 66 lbs each compared to 60-62 lbs on other tires.

I definitely noticed that. My current 35’s are 70lbs so I’ll be dropping some weight with the falcons. I’ll compare weights to other tires night. Thanks!

I’ll be checking my mailbox for that gold star! ;)

Nope, thanks, will purge, would be polite if you don't mind dumping yours too, it was part of a reply I mistakenly pasted.

There are so many good all terrain tires on the market these days it actually makes it hard to pick one. I'm actually thinking about switching to a mud terrain when I wear out these BFG's.

My 5runner had wildpeaks. I liked em, and they rode/wore fine with me driving, but when i passed it on to my brother, he wore em out fast. But that was 2010ish, so probably not the same compound.

Well crap. Got in my truck for 100 mile trip and about 5 miles later she starts bucking and CEL flashing under load. Decide to turn around and get my 2.5 Gen. Pull the codes and get cyl 4 misfire and multi cyl misfire. Cylinder for has an original coil with 240K miles so I pull it and has two large cracks lengthwise along the coil. Left bank has four Denso coils which I installed 3 or 4 years ago. Start pulling other original coils and find another cracked one. Decided to order four new Densos from the rock and will change the right bank coils this weekend.

What was it supposed to be again, 3mm? If so, 1mm shim is easy enough to source and cut to shape....

I’m REALLY beginning to hate rust…:(

I now remembered why I should be buying new plugs every time I change the fluid.
