Really? I didn't know that. Don't know what supplier they use but no, I did not plug the vent holes. I was going to rinse off the truck but now it's too hot lol

There's absolutely zero reason to remove the entire grille lol.

Literally just loosen the bottom three shutter bolts a bit and remove the top three and you can install these lights with plenty of room to work.

I'll check the specific location but it's in the driver side fuse box.

I wouldn't say plenty of room lol but I got it done :)

Where is the DRL fuse? I wired mine up to a switch so I can turn on and off as I want but I found that it doesn't stay on after I turn off the truck and turn back on. I would have to flip the switch to off and then back on again for the lights to come on so I'm thinking of going directly to DRL and be able to control it with the stalk

I followed a member on here from the heritage grille thread 35A794FD-8F9A-45E5-8BD1-43E6843A1C75.jpg

But I ended up switching it to when the headlights are on not DRL

Used some rtv and sealed the hole where the wiring harness exits the housing as well as all around the led. After about 2 hours of being submerged underwater, absolutely no water inside the LED housing itself.

I've gone ahead and sealed the other 2. Once the rtv cures on those, I'm going to ceramic coat the housing. I noticed air bubbles starting to form after a while under water. I'm assuming water was starting to get in and the ceramic should help repell any last bit that might want to permeate through.

Awesomesauce. Thanks for this. I'll pull out some RTV and seal these up tonight so they have time to cure.

I started my front tear down this weekend and will wrap it up Saturday. Doing the TRD Pro grill, replacing the front chrome stache, a bunch of lighting, my winch install, and my CBI bumper all at once. I don't really want to take the front end off again so I'm doing it all at the same time. lol.

Yeah, their tape isn't the best. I've been driving around with only 2 lights as 1 fell off and was dangling for who knows how long lol. I had some 3M tape at home but it seem pretty thin. Now I need to come up with better solution

I cleaned my grille with alcohol prior to install and mine have been fine for a month now. And that’s driving down some absolute GARBAGE and bumpy south Louisiana roads daily lol.

Hoping to wrap up my front end work this weekend and install these light this tomorrow. What kind of tape did they use on your lights? Mine is 3m VHB Doublesided tape. That's usually pretty good stuff and I keep a roll of it in my garage for various things.

Are you guys running into issues with that tape adhering or did they use a cheaper tape on your lights?

I have a new set from Rave that I won't be using if anyone interested. My front grill it's the the Limited trim I ordered while back the Rave marker lights were backorder and I ordered the front TRD grill which should be at home anytime soon that comes with the marker lights and the light bar.

Did anyone buy the entire Grill Kit from Rave? It looks like a complete set with the grill, light bar, switch and marker lights (that are leaky). I am wondering if the light bar leaks and the grill is a cheap knock off?

Installed pro grille and Rave marker lights yesterday. Love them so far. Very easy install and are working fine. I am wondering if there is a way to get them to come on with the other marker lights on the truck. My intent would be to have them turn on similar to the other ones when you lock and unlock doors. Right now they are in an empty fuse slot and turn on when the truck turns on, which is great. I was just thinking it would be cool to get them to just work with the other amber lights. Does anyone know if there is a way
of doing this without wiring them into those lights? I was thinking maybe there is a fuse or something associated with that. Not an electrition by any means, haha

I did not seal them. Moisture can come in and then evaporate. That is what the drain holes are for according to rave. The leds themselves are for waterproof ipx7, I believe. I am not submerging them, so they should have no issues. For price I am more than happy.

Dust won't get out and it'll start accumulating and eventually cause a muddy mess. Won't take much for water to get in, you'll see

I disagree, but you are entitled to your opinion. I also stated that water does get in and then evaporates. They have been on for over a month. They have seen snow, rain, dirt, and mud and they are clean and still working fine.

Has anyone used their amber/amber lights (everything I’m seeing on here is the clear/amber option). They look brighter and website says they are moisture seal, while the clear/amber have drain holes. They are also cheaper.

The amber amber lights are the ones we all got from alibaba or aliexpress..wherever it was. Those will not bolt up to an oem heritage grille. I've had a set for months and are nice and bright, no flickering and look oem. Get those lights but from someone else
