Got my truck about 2 weeks ago and already spent around 8K Canadabux if you're also counting tires.

Ordered Full skid plates, rock sliders, and cat guards from RCI during their labour day sale. Shipping to Canada was a bitch.

Wheels / tires, TRD Pro Suspension, stereo, AJT interior, exhaust, etc……. Would bet close to $15K, especially if I include the couple grand wasted on the junk Falcon shocks I got tired of dealing with.

    Found it:
    https://www.tundras.com/threads/cost-of-ownership-including-mods.89298/

Based on my post in that thread and everything I’ve done to the truck since, I’m up over 25k thanks to gears and locker, probably over 26k with other items. No new repairs to report, but I’ve changed the oil a couple times, replaced my cap, built cross bars for the cap rack, put an awning on the roof rack, oh and I replaced the battery. The original one lasted 12 years, freaking Toyota quality sucks.

Sorry op, I don't see cat shields as a mod, they are a necessity.

I'd ask on which vehicle? On the current Sequoia, I'm guessing 10k, my 2010 Tundra 15k, the previous cars (Toyota 86, 4Runner, BMW X5, 350Z, '92 325Ic, 90 325Ic, '94 Land Cruiser on & on & on) at least 100k. (shhhhh don't tell my Wife)

    :p

Hmm. I think I’m up to $12.99 or so with those 2 cans of plastidip I picked up at Home Depot last weekend. I had just said to myself, you know what…I deserve it!

Enough that should my wife ever join the site, I’d greatly appreciate if the mods direct her here and delete my build thread.

But yeah, $1500 sounds about right. Written on the internet, so it’s gotta be true

Last night when researching she asked if I was looking at Tundra porn :amen:
