Had mine installed by the dealer Thursday. I haven't broke out the measuring tape but it seem level on level ground. The best way I can describe the ride is stock(rims/tires/suspension) the truck rides line an SUV when you add tires/rims/wescott is rides like a truck. Not terrible but I do notice a few more bumps than I did before.

This member did…looks good and he attest that it rides well compared to stock.

I thought about the Pro Comp for a bit but Wescott turned out to be the happy medium for me as I wanted more of a lift AND level together, rather only the level that a front spacer only application provides.

Ultimately the TRD kit is what I would prefer but with money being spent everywhere at the same time that will either come in the distant future or never as I honestly don’t need it (and my wife won’t appreciate me telling her it’s gonna be another $5K-$6K for parts and install on that baby)

I installed the RC spacer kit couple weeks ago. The stock tophat studs are really long and have a bullet nose at the end. After I trimmed the studs, there's still plenty of room to go back to stock. Rotating the shock with the top hat on and getting the lower shock mount to line up correctly sounded like more of a pain to me than cutting the studs, and I also didn't want a full 2" in front. $160 is pretty expensive but I think it's a cool kit. And it rides like stock.IMG_3374.jpg

I installed my Westcott 3/2 lift a little while back and it’s stiffer than stock but fine. Nothing beats a real lift with great shocks, it’s hard to know till you know! The good news is that even with 2” in the rear you don’t need extended brake lines, which is also not great news because as configured these trucks just don’t have much droop. But it sounds like Total Chaos is working on fixing that with their kit and it’s extended travel. 9ED8C5E9-EEC3-45CD-8026-A68DEE23AAF3.jpg 413330AD-8B47-48C4-8BC7-C8706C783034.jpg EC35D3DC-846B-4C4F-8AA3-56625AD9BACA.jpg 9A825237-E406-4376-B59A-0E7C9E5BF058.jpg8429C74E-A696-46C9-972C-50C55A97304A.jpg B0C2AD98-053A-46C9-B95A-046A1BEFFB6C.jpg AA2384E1-55E2-4EE4-B76E-2B6BEA6CB5D5.jpg

    Looks great!

Side note: You're now the second or third person I've seen post about a Westcott 3"/2" lift. I'm not sure if it's a misprint or if some of you have custom ordered, but Westcott only lists 3"/1" (unless AVS then it's 2"/1"ish) on their website. Did you get a custom ordered 2" lift for the rear, as their standard Limited non-AVS lift gives 1" in the rear only?

They made a few rear 2” spacers to test so I asked for one pair for my Tundra. Took a little bit but they helped me out. But I have no idea if they are still doing that

Anybody out there do the install of the just the preload collar, leaving the top spacer off? Would love to see a pic, if it's out there. Seems like that, with the 1 inch rear lift, would look more proportional. Otherwise, I think ordering the version with the 1 5/8" rear spacer may be the way to go.

If it gets 2.25" from spring preload, and .75" from a top spacer (as someone reported), then it's very much like a cheap coilover upgrade like 5100s... only with even more spring preload... and without the better damping. 5100s have ~.85" from greater length (like a top spacer) and the rest from preload.

The claims made on the their website are bogus. I wouldn't touch it. Price is way too high for what you get. It will not be a "factory ride" at all.

If you want a lift for show, I agree a 2" spacer lift is the way to go. You will retain a factory ride. Also extend your bumpstops though, so you don't bottom out your shocks.

Personally I think the 5100’s on the 2nd Gens was a significant upgrade (both in the performance of the setup and the options it provided) over the stock setup.

I ran the 5100’s on my 2015 TRD OR (middle setting) and a 2” block at the back to retain my rake.

I am running the Westcott’s currently on my 3rd gen and while I like them…should a 5100 option come out for the 3rd gen I will probably switch to that as it had more of a factory ride.

TRD lift kit would be nice but doubt I want to spend the ~$6k (lift and installation) that will cost.

And the 5100s are half the price! I was a little harsh on the Wescotts... at least they have something available... not a lot out there right now. And compared to a spacer lift they'll be firmer and a little better offroad.

Anyone ever have an issue setting the ride height on the Westcott kit with the air leveling suspension? I’m having a heck of a time with it for some reason.

I’m going to check that tomorrow. Had a shop install it, so I never checked that end of things, I’ve been trying to adjust the slotted end.

I think the same thing any time I see a lifted or leveled Tundra, that's why I'd like to get a 1" spacer lift. My measurements show the front is in fact 1 3/4" higher than the rear but something about how it looks makes it look like the front end is now higher than the rear.

Following this post. I am considering purchasing this Westcott lift but everywhere i've been reading recently is saying that the lift is VERY stiff when going over bumps and washboard roads.
