I have no idea. I have zero experience with spacer lifts of any kind. I'd ask them.

I contacted Firestone and about the 2022 Tundra and when the actual size would be available, and they told me at best it would be 4th quarter 2022 or 1st quarter 2023 when they are available to the public.

I can also confirm that the firestone 4164's work on the 2022 Tundra SR5. I installed my kit today after seeing this post and it took me about an hour or so. I did not take the back suspension apart when installing mine. I took a sawzall with a long blade and just cut the bump stop where the directions said to cut it, pushed the airline into the bag, and the fed the airline up through the bump stop and then pushed the airbag into the spring. If your going to use my method with the sawzall, be very careful not to cut anything you don't want to cut. I put my air nozzles on the left side of my license plate because I felt like it was the best spot and easily accessible. I have pumped up to 15lb's right now while I monitor for leaks and then I will probably go down to 8 or 10lb's. The ride a 15lb's doesn't feel much different than stock, but it did raise the back of the truck a little.

Did you jack the truck up at all, or just do it all on the ground?

That would make sense. Im going to try the sawzall cut method and am nervous not knowing exactly where to cut.

Adding oem vs aftermarket is usually way more expensive and not as solid- aftermarket airbags if they fail are cheap and easy to replace

Yeah I knew it was gonna be expensive but didn’t think it was gonna be that expensive since it’s only a $650 factory option…

I was planning on getting it on my 2022 but for what I want adding that is gonna make it an oddball build and would push me back a long while so I’m just gonna get the base truck I want and I’ll add aftermarket bags down the road.

$650 option due to the face they don’t have to put in rear springs, bumps, etc so it cuts down the cost!

did you jack the truck up to cut the bump stop? I was just under there checking clearance for the sawzall and there is zero chance of getting the blade into position to cut that 4th nub off with the truck on the ground- could be due to me having a hybrid

I’m interested in hearing from those that did the install without taking the springs out. I just picked up the 4164’s off Amazon. I was going to wait but they had a like new set with free returns for $48, so I grabbed them. Sounds like getting to the bump stop is challenging and a long saws all blade is needed. Secondly, OP I know you said you can’t quite get back to level with your camper, would it have made a difference for you if you left more on your bump stop?

I ordered a set of the Airlift loadlifter 5000 last week from Jack-it, I was told there was a 3- 8 week wait on delivery. I currently have the Firestone coil rite helper airbags and I still experience some squat when pulling my 6500 lb trailer. Patiently waiting…

You asked above if 4164 will work with a spacer lift, apparently you decided they will and I concur. Coilspring height isn't changed. If in future you install lift coils, taller coils, you'd need a taller airbag. Had that problem with my Runners, 2" Toytec lift coils I had to get taller Firestones meant for a mid-90's Crown Vic.

Taking off less bumpstop you'd have less contact area on the bag. That may work fine though, IIRC Firestone includes a thin plastic puck for the top of the bag where the bumpstop contacts. Having one would act to spread the load. Best of luck, been happy with Firestones on the Runners carrying a lot of gear and tongue weight. They help control sway also, the rear doesn't dip as much side-to-side, behave much like a swaybar.

I am trying to decide between the Timbren SES, Airlift Loadlifter, or Firestone Coil-rite kits for my slide-in camper install. Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated.

How much does the camper weigh loaded? The coilrite kit is just barely sufficient for our camper at about 1000lbs.

I'd be looking at the airlift kit if I were you. And shocks that are valved for the weight. That is my number one issue with the camper on this truck is the factory shock tune.
