Are your fogs new housing, or a lens tint? I want to add yellow bulbs to my fogs as I am running halogen headlights. My experience with yellow fogs is people see you better, AND I can see the reflective road stripes better in foul weather.

Ha! I had the exact same question for Jonah over here. He tinted his. I went with this solution: https://www.tundras.com/threads/wha...-gen-tundra-today.2558/page-1413#post-2852779

Updated 2022 link to product here. But any of the brand names I listed in my solution link are the same manuf'er, different name.

I have a love/hate relationship with those boards. On one hand, the kids still need them, and they make it easier on me and my skate-vet knees when getting in. On the other hand, I prefer nerf bars but it'd look wierd with the Limited white-out, throwing chrome under it. It'll be time for new rubber and possibly new shoes soon, so we'll see if they stay or go.

That's actually the 03-06 grille. My work truck posted elsewhere on here has the earlier grille with the bumper off a 03 on it. It's a 2001 but has the bed, flairs and front bumper off a 03 on it. My black truck is a 2004.

Pretty much the way you see it Colby, tried a cold air intake that Rod Millen's son made for me way back when but had bad detonation whenever it was hot, so it sits in my garage, yours if you want it. Other than that just bigger tires, 265/75/16 and the Coil/overs for a 2.5" lift in the front, stock after that
    Bobby V
Oh and the grille change out

Not sure you'll get a response, after clicking on his username, looks like his last check-in was 4 years ago:

    upload_2022-8-20_16-33-36.jpg

Curious, what's the story on your nerf/step bars? They look almost OEM, except the step pad running the whole length.

I did get them from Irvine Toyota (back in 2000) and seemed like they were made by them as the bolt holes and all lined up perfectly. I tried doing them black but for some reason they didnt accept the PlasiDip Hmmm, sort of stand out dont they now that everything else is black. Maybe Ill try again so that its all black

Thanks, its been a great truck for over 20 years and like I said, I think ill keep it, price of new trucks are way, way out there. One thing I wish I could improve is the mileage it gets cause it sucks, in town about 11-12 MPG, it improves if I run premium but at today's prices no way.

Yeah I have one I use that's a work truck, a 2001, just bought a 04 for a personal truck...I have a few that've been turned into parts trucks but having various tundras over the years as work trucks I can definitely attest that they're not easy on the gas ...luckily up until now it's always been a company card used...sadly I'll have to pay for the gas myself in my truck so.... That sucks

In lookin at your profile I see you have a flowmaster and K&N air filter, I have the flow master also which I forgot to mention but I,m wondering if you have any trouble with the K&N setup, is it a cold air intake of just an air filter element?
Like I said I have one sitting in the garage, but I had bad detonation when the hot weather hit so I took it off after my sons exploded coming home from Havasu in the heat pulling his boat. They blamed it on the intake but fixed it anyways.
My truck sure ran better with it but didnt want to chance it, maybe if id gone to premium gas it would stop it huh?? what do you run for gas??

When I towed my camper home the first time, I just flipped my ball mount upside down to reduce the drop for the trailer a bit. Despite much weeping from my wife and her parents, I somehow didn't end up upside down and on fire in a ditch.

IMG_20220515_194348420.jpg IMG_20220319_122214119_HDR.jpgHere's a couple pics of my 06 Dbl Cab that I recently gave to my 17yo son. I bought it new in Jan 07, kept it for 8yrs, then sold to my brother (with only 73k miles). He wanted something new, so I bought it back from him, now with 150k miles, about 1yr ago. Since then my son and I have replaced a lot of parts to get another 15yrs out of it. Went with mostly OEM parts. Rack and Pinion, tie rods, complete rear drums, front brakes, new exhaust, SAIS bypass, timing belt/wp kit, cam&crank seals, valve cover gaskets, new light housings, Sony XAV5000 stereo w/backup cam, Pioneer speakers, LBJ's, Front Bilstein 5100's set at 1.4in, shampoo interior (removed seats), wax/polish chalked paint. For now, the only other repairs/upgrades needed are RT front wheel bearings and rear 5100 shocks. The truck drives like brand new again. If my son ever wants to replace it, it will be mine again. Will never let this truck go!
