Correct. I bought new panels from lsammi, but I didn't realize there's 2 shades of tan for the interior. I have the darker one, the panels are lighter.

 

Yup. This is what happens when a truck is used for GC work for 250k miles.

 

I would still use them personally. I don't think a slightly different shade of tan would look bad. Certainly better than current state.

 

I mean, the cloth insert is removable w/minimal effort. There's no reason you couldn't pop the donor inserts out, reinstall them into your truck on your original door cards. I talked about how to do it over here, with pics when junior was talking about cleaning out his silver ones.

You could also clean the center console up, take the lid into an fabric store that has headliner fabrics and similar, find one that's a close match, and re-wrap the donor panels and install.

 

PS - @bmf4069 what is your interior color code? should be two letters and two numbers.

Just signed up to have a Red Bull wrap put on my truck for $500/mo.

Maybe it’ll encourage me to fix the frame, invest in a much better suspension and replace my steering rack and lines.

It should be interesting if they decide to use me.

 

I know for a fact trane and American standard come out of the same factory.

No. They want me to take pics of my vehicle and send it to them. I’ll wait and see if it starts to get shady. They state they’ll send me a check for the first week and that I get my vehicle wrapped that week as well.

 

Oh, be careful. 2K a month sounds like a scam.

 

Kind of what I’m thinking. When they ask for my bank account number, deal is off unless I get legit paperwork ahead of time.

 

They do have a unique business strategy and spend a shit ton on advertising. But they don't need to direct deposit - checks are fine...

 

I asked shiner to wrap my buell. They told me to wrap it, then they'd talk about compensation.

 

Well now I need to see if I can wrap something in mich ultra.

 

If they ask for the social for tax purposes, I’ll have to ask for the paperwork first. Methinks it’ll be the deal breaker.

I'm sure if it's legit, they will be more than happy to provide anything you need, and also enough info that you can verify yourself. As des said, if they use the word kindly, or get frustrated or angry, tell them to go fuk themselves and report them

Here’s the latest before they confirmed my address and pics of the vehicle:

“That’s great, It’s a small sticker and a specialist agent will be send to you to install the sticker on your car, The Management will mail you the check to get the sticker materials and payment to install the sticker, i’ll also include your first week payment of $500 to secure your service for the first week, do you understand that?”

 

I know, I’m suspicious as well.

definitely a scam. They send you a check (for more than they stated originally) and then you deposit the check. They say the wire the installer the rest of the money and get you set up. Then the check ends up bouncing and you're out the money. Don't screw with it. There are only like 3 real companies that advertise on cars and pay at max $500/month. Most require a 2008+ and at least 30 miles of driving a day.
