mines always been fine. the sequoias had a second condenser fan like that though. double cab guys should be able to bolt that on and just wire it. one day i'll toss one on mine to see if it helps at all.. but it doesnt seem like i really need any help with my system

Do they have a bigger/rear cooling system that requires the fan?

I replaced the inside window belt molding on both doors today. 95% solved my window rattle. I say 95% because when my window is all the way down there is a slight rattle. Should be an easy fix with a little foam or tape. Will play around with it a bit more.
@shifty` I thought you’d be interested in this. After the last posts I was pleased with this fix. Hopefully the results last.

Been slowly working on these for the past week. As usual things come up during a "simple" install. OTR wouldn't come out with a sledge so I had to get a OTR puller but needed to rent a few different ones so that it would fit over where it mounts to the LBJ. Also then discovered that I had to loosed up the steering rack to remove the LCA cam bolts through the rear. Both cams on my passenger side were seized so they needed to be sawzall them out. Finally got them in and will be working on torqueing down all the bolts.

If you're asking why I'm running them on stock shocks that's probably a good question. I'm dropping the truck off with Geoffrey Beers at Agility Customs to do some work on the truck and was just going to have them do some of the installs but wanted to change my LBJ's immediately for preventative maintenance. My LCA bushings were cracked anyways so if I wanted to change the LBJ figured I'd upgrade to the Solo's. In retrospect I could have done a lot of the suspension work with the front end taken down lol.

Just managed to squeeze this in the back yesterday, almost had to let the tires down to shut the tailgate.

Talking of squeezing, as anyone had success at getting the drivers seat to move back about another inch or two? I'm 6' 3" and legs a re getting a little cramped. I read a few posts and there didn't seem to be a quick fix?

Thanks for the tag - this was the inner seal that starts near the front corner of the window, then goes up, around, and down into the door along the latch side?

    How hard was install?

I know a bunch of guys have put risers under the front legs of the seat. might help you out a little if it doesn't put your legs into the wheel.

Mounting is finished and it clears the release. Held up to the push test. I unplugged the horn but I'll probably end up extending the wires and relocating it.

I never saw any of these when I was in socal. Seeing this makes me miss Texas though. Two dumpster fires I'm glad I got out of, but I do miss the nature, some of the people, and parks.

I want a flame thrower to clear snow off the driveway.
Apparently, that's not allowed in the city limits - especially when you have a natural gas line running under the driveway. Sheesh.

I'd like to do this too. I'm only 6' but I usually like to sit way back. The tundra won't let you do it. Never looked much into a way to change it.

i should think you could weld an oversized rectangle that bolts into the original mounting points, but extends further back. You'd mount the rear seat bolts to the back of the frame & the fronts to an added cross bar placed as required. Bar stock would cost you head room, but stronger than flat stock & likely you are longer in the legs than torso if you need the seat further back than all the way back.

Messed with the trucks weird issue with radio controls… it’s not the radio. Something else is funky in the truck. So I didn’t damage anything. In the mean time I’ve disabled the illumination for the steering wheel controls. Everything functions fine now. Just really confused what it’s issue is

Also played with swapping radios in the corolla. No radio I plug in has a functional volume control and no sound comes out. Zero clue why… the cars wired identical to the truck. I need to dig more apparently

    Haaaaaaaaaayyyy!

Huh, that is weird. Is it all OEM radios you're plugging into the Corolla? Does the Corolla have a factory amp and/or the donor radios come from vehicles that had one?

It'd be curious to see the color/pinout map on a Metra harness compared to the same for the donor vehicle's radio if it's the case.

Harnesses on donor vehicles all have same pin outs. No amp in any of them. All 3 radios function fine in the tundra and I tested the taco for hood measure.

the tundra thing is weird. i dont know WTF is its problem. but lights on, steering controls only work for seek up and seek down turns the volume down. nothing else works and the lights turn on only when pressing a button. turn lights off.. it all works fine.. all wiring checks out fine. all i can think of at this point is a have a messed up integration relay.

all the radios have this issue. tried a different set of switches, and a different spiral cable... nothing changes. im like really confused

Do the later year seats go further back than the earlier ones? Or am I misremembering.

I get 23" from the brake pedal to the seat or about 28 3/4" to the floor below the brake pedal at the top of the floormat.

Edit: just remembered I'd be 5/16 - 1/2" forward due to my seat risers.

I'll have to measure mine all the way back and see. If I can remember to do it anyway.
