    Any suggestion on how to make this work? The diameters of the muffler inlets and mid outlets are damn near the same. He flared the mids a little but not enough. The old piece went inside the muffler and wasn't flared.

    Get an exhaust spreading tool from a local auto parts store. Most have them for loan.

    I'd also get a nice 2in or 3in band clamp too.. otherwise you'll have a little issue sealing if you can't get those to slide past the notch.

    looking at your pictures above, looks like they flared where it was supposed to be tapered.

    Your old one didn't have that, just smooth pipe.

    Yep, got off the phone with Nick and he admitted they F'ed up. Now my truck will wait until I can get the new piece in. He is gonna overnight it once they've made it.

    Yeah got ARH long tubes and dirty deeds 26” mufflers ordered. Probably should’ve done the full Arh exhaust like you did but too late now.
