Need advice on leaf springs

Hello fellow friends, I owe an 2000 Tundra RWD that needs new leaf springs and have no idea what and where to buy. My truck has stock height (would like to keep it that way), and usually drive it on the road and don't put a lot of weight on it. Been reading a lot of brands that now I'm confused, would appreciate your advice...

 

What's wrong with current springs? Could you find a set from a junkyard with lower miles if any around you?

 

I have an 04 and feel like mine need to be replaced, but I’ve been told they should last a lot longer, 200k currently. I’m curious what others will say about whether you need some also. I’m feeling this way cuz I towed a camper and my springs didn’t support shit, even though I was under my cap…

 

Ended up getting set from rockauto to replace on my dads 2000 4wd. Fixed the issue with backend slamming into rear bump stops going over small dips bumps

 

Also have this issue…how long it take you to change them?

 

All within an afternoon. Helps to have second pair of hands if possible.

 

I used 2 jacks, 1 pair of big jackstands, and several blocks of wood. Not sure if there's a difference between the front and rear of your leaf packs but you'll wanna make note of it.

I second Alcan’s as well. A solid setup and I love them.

 

I replaced all four shocks and passenger side end it up 1 3/4'' higher that the pilot side, so mechanic said that leaf springs are the problem.
