Who's on point with the badvice?

caught a staple in the corner. Its a 2 day leak, too small to be worth reaming and plugging (yet). Glue in a brad nail? Glue & a screw? Just glue?

i know, you cant fix a sidewall, and my puppy and i are willing to accept the risk.

Safety Seal has 1/8" plugs, I'm a mad man so I'd plug it and run it on the back.

    It's good
Are you sure a shop won't do an inside patch on that?

For liability, most shops won't patch anything that's less than 1" from the tread strip.

Something like that in the top corner of the sidewall, or anywhere in the sidewall, is a big no-no for liability reasons. Risk of blowout is way higher.

Basically anywhere from the red line outward is ballpark in the "no no zone". Some places may get a quarter or half inch closer.

Rubber cement and a fat shank screw worked like a champ. No bubbles, holding air. If its still in after a run up to 100, i'll consider it properly band-aided.

My shop plugged a screw in my Michelin LTX in that exact same place. Never leaked, but I did eventually get it replaced as part of a tire warranty.

Turns out the screws in my tires were from my past neighbor. A very devious beotch.

There are definitely shops that'll do it.

Most chain shops I've taken tires like that to won't do it, and what I wrote is exactly what they say.

Okay, look what my employer sent me for a 25th anniversary gift after I returned that defective soundbar….

Now I can put car parts in my oven! Maybe dishwasher too as I don’t use that as much either….

    Think of the possibilities! :D

I thought it was obvious. Guess not.

Like @NUDRAT stated, it’s a toaster oven but with air circulation for even cooking. A lot of people rave about it. I really don’t get it, but I might as well try it. My oven is on the way out anyway.

You guys coulda just watched the video. DLR displays quite a splendid assortment of ‘ladies’.
By ‘ladies’, I mean adult female humans that were born with, still have, and intend on keeping their vaginas. To be clear.

I picked up my shocks from King today and my reman CV showed up as well. King's customer service is exceptional.

    Truck (6).jpg

These are spacers they remove to make the shock extended travel.

    Truck (9).jpg

    Remanufactured CV axle.

    Truck (8).jpg

Other parts - new hardware for one of the shocks, radiator hose clamp, brake line.

    Truck (10).jpg

Installed both shocks, the CV, and the brake line.

    Truck (1).jpg

My service advisor at King also has a first gen. He's currently running a custom coilover with reservoirs and adjusters, fancy! He said otherwise they are the same specs as mine plus a few other parts that are changed.
