    2-3 weeks. Max.

Pretty disappointed. Gonna try and have it replaced. Not a major crisis but just bummed.

That's about how long I've had mine. The original is stuffed under the seat just in case.

Funny story I guess, ordered mine last night through my PayPal account which is linked to my debit card. Order confirmed with no issues. I go to eat at a restaurant here in Gulf Shores and my debit card got declined. :spending: What the crap? Call my bank and they say there was suspicious activity and they froze my card. I guess the Chinese writing on the confirmation email sent up a red flag. Lol.

Anyway, all is good and can’t wait to get these in and installed.

I received mine in the mail a bit ago but just recently installed all 4. Had issues with the passenger front window controlling it from the drivers switch. Emailed them and got a new drivers switch in a few days. Installed and seems to be working like it should. For how long though… time will tell. As mentioned in another post, carry the oem as a backup lol.

I got the driver's side only, in blue. Installed and really like this mod. The backlit blue is a bit darker blue than the lower dash switches blue/white color. But still looks good.

Yeah fortunately it was just hot as blue blazes here yesterday and I couldn't get the windows up until I got home. Could have been a frog strangler with my luck. I got home swapped out the faulty driver's module for the OEM and rolled everything back up. My aftermarket Module still controlled the drivers window as a "full auto" but none of the other windows. Also, none of the other windows would work with the new individual "full auto" switches. As soon as OEM driver's was reinstalled, all 4 windows worked as "labeled" from their respective doors. Meaning, The full autos I left in the 3 passenger doors and they functioned fine (full auto capability still) once the OEM module was back in. As I stated before, I'd only had the "mod" in for 2-3 weeks tops.

So, I emailed them, they responded "asking for a video of the malfunction and if it would work with the headlights on" I told them I had already swapped back, and wasn't putting a faulty unit back in my door just to take a video for fear of cooking my electrical system. Haven't heard back, but from the cadence of the emails, it sounds like they're on the other side of the world. I'll continue to update as things progress/ change.

Anyone who has the double switch incompatibility problem, you could probably use the Auto Loc and/or 3W Liner products to make it happen. With Auto Loc you won't have auto to the rears from the driver seat though.

Has anyone had a problem with only the main driver side switch installed?

I chose to go with only the one switch and have been problem free for 6+ weeks

Let me assist you to a screen shot showing issues with the driver door full auto switch. If you READ the post the issue is clearly isolated that the issue is the master driver door switch

    upload_2022-6-23_15-58-27.jpg

And here is another ANSWER to your question

I asked a question specifically pertaining to folks who ONLY have the “master driver” switch installed.

    Appreciate your help either way

Again. READ the post dude! The issue is related DIRECTLY to the aftermarket master door window switch. I can't make it... no one can make it more clear that it is the root of the problems happening

just a little patience due to the time zone thing but it seems like they’re trying to stand behind their product.

Silly suggestion but did you try toggling the "window lock" buttons? I had this same issue on my 4runner once, thought I had smoked the master window switch somehow when messing with some electrical. Turns out I had unknowingly bumped the window lock button and it was acting as designed. Sure got me all riled up for a night over nothing.

I just received my replacement after having the same issue a few weeks back. They asked for a video as well but I had already switched mine back to the OEM. After a few back and forth emails they eventually agreed to send a replacement. I plan to install it this weekend but Im going to keep the OEM in the truck just in case this happens again and I need to switch it out on the road. But I would suggest to anyone else that has issues with theirs to take a video before switching back to the OEM. It will make getting a replacement a little easier and probably a quicker turnaround.

I bought these after reading this thread and they came in this weekend.. all four work as stated, not a big deal for me on the time of the window relay but very happy with this mod. simple and 25 min install. Dont know about others but my switches all have the half press stop feature. push & hold for a second to get the auto down/up feature.. fast tap it to stop it. The blue works great with the rest of the truck. FWIW...

Anyone looking for lighted window switches? I apparently ordered the wrong set (wanted all 4 auto). Got incontact with cartrimhome.com and got the runaround on trying to exchange them. So here I am willing to sell them off for what I paid...$86.00

Thanks for the heads up buddy. Just figured I'd put it out there since it was a topic. I've since moved my responses over to the items for sale thread. But let me know if you're interested Sarge...

As promised - update to my part exchange:

Got the new drivers module in today. Well packed and quick!! (Less than a week). Just installed and works as advertised. Let’s hope this one goes the distance instead of a 2 week lifespan. Very impressed with the customer service of cartrimhome.com

I hope there is no next time. If there is can you try removing the 3 passenger switches instead of the main driver switch. I have a hunch

Actually the 3 passenger switches worked as full autos even with the OEM back in this last week. They didn’t work at all with the faulty drivers module.

Looking at their website and Untapp'd ratings, seems like they could be decent with a few good ones, but when your BBA stouts are in the high-3s to barely creeping into the 4s with 1,000+ rankings, I'm guessing there are easily several better breweries in FL. I'd be interested in checking it out if I'm ever down there, but nothing I'd go out of my way for.

Got mine installed a few days ago. ~10 minute job...figured on 5 but didn't realize I had the screws on the drivers' side module. Either way, pretty quick swap.

Definitely a nice upgrade. Everything seems to be working as it should (although, I haven't tested anything but the drivers' side switches yet). I'll have to do that and confirm.

Bummer it seems I may need to keep my OEM switches in there too. Pretty interesting how OEM units on a lot of vehicles can last literally what seems like FOREVER, but yet aftermarket stuff nowhere near as long.
