Pretty sure that’s the going price at a bunch of places for these, but I got mine on Real Truck.

I just bought the Gator SRX and did a detailed review HERE

It was $279 on their site when I bought it, now it's $289. They may be increasing the price slowly as more make it out into the market

If anyone is looking for a hard cover, I been using the retrax pro XR for several days now and so far so good. I used a power washer on it and no water ended up in my bed. The top can hold up to 500lbs evenly distributed. It’s legit, no complaints and worth every penny. I would recommend 9 out of 10

How did you get yours to fit? I just got mine and the cargo bed rails that the brackets slide into are about 2" to short for the handles to catch the bracket. I can't slide the cover forward anymore because then there is a gap in the tailgate.

If anyone is looking for an OEM tonneau cover you might reach out to your dealership. I ordered mine yesterday, the parts guy said last week there were 400 backordered in the system, but as of yesterday it was down to 10. He said it seemed like they were finally ready to ship them out and get caught up.

Awesome! Install was super easy. Took prob 45min to an hour. After doing it the first time I think it can be done in about 30 min. Main thing is to make sure its even on both sides and take measurements to make sure it’s the same width through front and back before clamping down with the brackets.
    0BD455CD-1C79-42D4-BBAD-515C07CB90B9.jpg 2F8FE589-AFA0-421E-9858-D88BD6B70F9F.jpg 0BD455CD-1C79-42D4-BBAD-515C07CB90B9.jpg

It still works with the factory cleats and goes on super easy. Took me about 45 min to install cause I didn’t know what I was doing.

Only thing I’m unsure of are the clamps. They fall right on the notches where the cleats lock into place so it doesn’t sit flat and some sit crooked in the rail system. The picture below shows what I’m talking about. Not sure if I should worry or not, or if I did something wrong. Also curious as to how tight I need to torque these bolts. If anyone that knows wants to chime in I would appreciate it

So like MMTundra, I too am waiting for a topper to be available but still need to cover construction materials (not tools) in the bed for the mean time. I had already tried this soft tonneau on another truck with great results. Basically the Gator but maybe even a little better as I experienced zero issues with any part of this tonneau cover. So I went ahead and order/installed it on the '22 SR5 DC. Its called an Access Tonnosport, and for $300 it works great! ...And MADE IN THE USA!

Cheapest I found is at Napa with free shipping...

So do we have any clear winner(s) for who has the best fit?
Lots of the ones I’m seeing (not just in here) look like they’re not even intended for use on our trucks the fit is so bad.

For a soft tonneau, YES, the Access Tonnosport! Fit and finish is pretty damn close to perfect. They have tried to sell me front seal kits both times and I said no thanks, it doesn't need it. The install is super simple. The velcro is stout and with the knob adjusters it stays very taught.... minimal flappage! Rolls up tight and neat with nylon strap/clip fasteners. For $300, you can't really go wrong. My 2 cents.

Do you happen to know the part number for the 5-1/2ft bed?

    With deck rails - 22050319

    Without - 22050289

Pretty simple. I just went to the link I provided in my post and put in the truck info...

i can vouch for the access rollup covers. had a access original installed on our 2018 and as long as you dont leave it rolled up for months at a time, they weather our ND extreme winters (-30F temps) very well. i've had a foot of snow on top of the cover and its never stretched or fell in on itself. never even used any conditioner or sealant, etc on it since new. still pliable, soft and like new from day one. has faded a little since its outsdie 24/7 over the last 4.5 yrs but still in great shape. velcro still works lilke day one, clips still good and not brittle.

usually go with the access original since it still lets us use the oem rack rails and tie downs along side the cover. just make sure you put the toyota tie down cleats where you want them to permanently be since you cant move them since mount points for the cover interfere with the rails.

but then again access company HQ is in jamestown ND, so they got some good testing for extreme temps :)

we are about 100 miles from them.

BIG THANKS to @SantanaRealtruck for the great price and quick service. I ordered the UnderCover Ultra Flex Tonneau Cover a couple weeks ago and got busy and never properly thanked Santana. Ordered June 8, received less than a week later.

Here are a few shots of the UnderCover Ultra Flex Tonneau Cover on my 5.5"

I am taking entirely too much time thinking about tonneau covers. I am currently stuck between getting the OEM cover and Retraxpro XR.
A local Line-X dealer sells the Retrax and their re-branded in-house brand. SantanaRealTruck sent me a quote that would be $500 cheaper than the Line-X Dealer, will be hard to pass that deal up. The Line-X would be installed and that only runs $65 from them.

Quick question for all of you with experience having a cover, as this will be my first one. What do you all use to protect (mostly from UV rays) your vinyl covers? I live in the middle of the desert in New Mexico and the sun destroys everything. I am scheduled to receive my Gator SFX (soft vinyl tri-fold) today and I want to add a protectant to it before installation. Any suggestions? 303, meguiar's, chemical guys, cerakote?

Received the BAKFlip MX4 today that I ordered thru Santana at Realtruck.com on 15 June. I live in southern Mississippi where the temperature hit 102 this afternoon…it was only 98 when I played golf this morning. Oh, and I’m 77 years old…but I installed the tonneau this afternoon. If I were younger it would have taken about 2 hours but because of the heat, lack of youth and mobility it took about 4. The fit of the tonneau is great and I’d recommend it to anyone.

Dang, it doesn't matter how long it took, 77 much less in 102 degrees - Kudos to you!

Curious for those with OEM tri fold, how yours is doing keeping water out. I know it’s not going to be perfect. But In rain (not blowing or torrential) my cover leaks like crazy. Water dripping in at the hinges. Noticed it dripping off the second hinge coming off the strap with the buckle from the underside.

I expected water at the tailgate. But this is excessive no? Anyone else with a similar issue?

I have the oem trifold. I live in Washington and it rains 90% of the time. No leaks even in heavy rain. Did you install the 2 foam blocks in the front corners? Other than that as long as its installed properly it does an excellent job of keeping the elements out.
