5 week wait is over. 4 weeks for the parts and install, and another week for the missing bolts. Time to plan the next install. Wheels and tires, 6112, or some Morimoto XD.680CF968-2425-410B-AE15-DD97B516BCAF.jpg

Not the first time ive heard of them not sending parts or missing parts. How do you feel about the rear guards?

I had RCI do the install, then when they mailed the bolts, used the address on file which was their own address so wasted 3 days in them mailing it to themselves. Their communication was really bad. Rather than call, and verify anything, they just reply back with new tracking information. Didn’t feel like they went above and beyond trying to right the wrong.
I saw the pictures of the first install, so I knew it was going to be a little bit of a let down. The rest of the parts are really nice. Maybe someone will create a better rear guard or the fad will die out. It’s some protection, but if they don’t steal my cats, there are numerous other items they could just as easily steal if they have the right tools.

None of them will fit in my garage, unfortunately. I mean, I can squeeze them in, but the space around would be so tight that it makes it impossible to work on any of the trucks. Maybe on my little Volvo.

I annoy wife semi-weekly that my new garage in her new house sucks. In my old garage I was rebuilding engines, transmissions, swapping crashed chassis, sighting crossbow, everything.

I tried to pop them out from the front as I’ve seen many videos do but bumper covers were not having it. So went from the inner fender.

Edit: was going to do the black OEM ones but the chrome were on sale $15 cheaper at the time so pulled the trigger. And the chrome housing also might help in some small percentage of reflective output.

What window sun shade is that? I just got one in yesterday from Amazon that was trash, the suction cups were so warped they wouldn't stick. Do you like that one? Thanks!

Finally got my custom ordered dcu installed. I’m still slowly working on the chrome delete. Anybody have a pair of black plastic front door handles they want to let go of?

I have been putting off swapping my black door handles for the chrome ones I got sometime ago. If you'll PM me we can work something out where you pay shipping. We are stupid hot outside here this time of year so if you can delay until after October for the swap this would work for me.

I was stationed in Charleston, SC. Our oldest son was born there.

I really like them. They just static cling on but they're really stuck on there. Once I accidentally rolled the window down with it on and it stayed put with no issues. I'm always peeling them on and off too whenever I'm towing with the truck, so there are no issues when it comes to taking them on and off numerous times. I have the semi-transparent (darker ones) in the 20x12 size.

Just a lil boo-boo wiring the anytime rear camera.

    621580B0-EA8F-4752-B068-F77CC89A7FA0.jpg

Got it working but still need to run wiring for switch lighting. It’s 100 outside, I’ll save it for another day…. Along with all the other things sitting in my garage
