Anyone know how the oem TRD pro light bar mounts to the PRO grill? I'm purchasing an oem used light bar but doesnt look like it comes with any mounting hardware. Are there pre threaded homes in the Pro grill? Pushclips? Or will i be needing additional hardware to mount? Bolt size?

Thanks, any tips would be appreciated. My pro grill is still probably a ways out.

there are 4 brackets made onto the light bar itself, they screw into the grille, i don't know if they are threaded, i want to say the screws you use will cut threads

there is also another bracket that the parts.toyota site shows for the Pro, but you can't see the description of what its for, but as far as i know, no one has tried to order, don't know 100% if its for the light bar, but the look of it kinda makes it seem like it would be, to hold the back of it up

also lots of information in this thread
    https://www.tundras.com/threads/grille-interchangeable.100356/

finally got notification that my grille will be delivered at the end of this week after a month and a half wait

I can’t for the living hell figure the OEM wiring!
I guess I’ll drill and snip away.
Also need to figure out the spacer and screw size also

    ok,

    Camera

Dimensions of the camera body itself, then dimension with the lens
    upload_2022-6-15_21-46-7.jpg
Is the camera a true square? Equal on all sides?

how many mounting points / screws are on the back of the camera where it attaches to the bracket?

Are there any alignment tabs for the camera?

    upload_2022-6-15_21-46-29.jpg
What are all the dimensions of the camera connector? One mounting screw or 2??
    upload_2022-6-15_21-46-50.jpg

    upload_2022-6-15_21-47-7.jpg

how far is the center of the camera mounting screw from the edge of the camera connector?

    upload_2022-6-15_21-47-27.jpg

How thick is the OEM bracket that where the camera is mounted?

Very curious on the camera mount. Have a 22 Platinum Hybrid on the way. Ordered the Pro/Heritage grille today that is on back order. Would be very interested in the new camera mount after seeing install video

@TakiEvo , Taki , Tak, im gonna call you Tak, like this guy..
    upload_2022-6-16_0-36-49.jpg

lets see if we can all work this out together

So, got some connectors from good ole Chiner,
i wired my white plug back in and stuck it back in the circuit board
    upload_2022-6-16_0-39-6.jpg

Bottom of light is the left hand side of this picture

so following the TIS diagram i labeled the wires as looking straight on the connector pins facing me, with the push clip latch facing up
    [IMG]
    upload_2022-6-16_1-7-50.jpg

running bench power supply at +12V

    B+ & G = no other pins have power

SW- & SIN- have continuity to ground

from here down assume GND is connected.

    B+ & ECU @ 12V
SW+ , Jumps voltage from 0v to +12v, 3-4 times then goes to 0 and stays there, this happens every time ECU wire is connected to +12v
    SIN+, has +12v
    CAN+, has +2.5v
    CAN-, has +2.5v
    SIN-, has 0v
    SW-, Has 0v

    ----------------------

    B+ @ 12v
    ECU @ 5v
    SW+ does the same jumps 3-4 times 0v - 12v, then goes 0
other pins are same as above

    ----------------------
    B+ & ECU @ 12v AND ECU @ 5v
Wire SW+ & SW- Together = High pitch Squeal like somethings about to give out

    ----------------------

    B+ & ECU @ 12v
    Wire SW+ & SW- Together
Wire SIN+ & SIN- Together = Squeal & no light

    ----------------------
    Other notes
Grounding CAN- at any point makes CAN+ go to 0v
Putting all +'s to 12v and all -'s to Ground does nothing

this is the testing that i have done,

if anyone has any suggestions/ combos to try, please let me know and i shall try
i do have the ability to do multiple voltages on different pins as i have some buck regulators that have adjustable voltage,
from my experiences in automotive, B+ is 12-14.5v , ECU's run +5v, CAN is +3v

went and backfed the little white connector with power and ground and had the light on, measured the wires at the external connector
didn't try to jumper any together
    B+ +12v
    ECU 0v
    SW+ Jumps the voltage 3-4 times 0v -12v - then settles 0v
    SIN+ +12v
    CAN+ +2.5v
    CAN- +2.5v
    SIN- 0v
    SW- 0v
    GND - 0v

    -----------------------
powered back through the external connector
    B+ & SW+ @ 12v
    ECU 0v
    SIN+ 0v
    CAN+ 0v
    CAN- +2.5v
    SIN- 0v
    SW- 0v

i wanna slap whoever designed this light

For sure the platinum camera mount will not work with the trd pro grille as it has no where to mount.
I might have to use silicone as a filler until something comes out.

I’ll shoot y’all the details tomorrow as I packed most my junk up.
One thing to note is that the front camera isn’t stitched well with the other cameras

well i got the camera mock up complete, just needs printed

    upload_2022-6-19_3-30-21.jpg

got the design for the camera connector / mounting scews pass through, i was going to do the shape of the connector, but its just too much, figure be little less precise make it a square just wide enough will be fine
    upload_2022-6-19_3-36-45.jpg

My grille should arrive on Tuesday, hopefully i will be home and not out of town working, that way i can get the angle of the bracket, and the locating pins and mounting holes and be able to get it all situated and drawn out

You can put into diagnostic mode. You can calibrate the camera through the radio.

This is great! How do you exactly go about getting into diagnostic mode?

    There’s 2 ways.
    Method 1: Using Techstream.
    upload_2022-6-19_13-35-42.jpg

Method 2: swiping radio screen procedure.
