May want to consider turning off new orders till you can get caught up. I see lots of places doing that.

I will be catching up very quickly. The unfortunate good news of canceled orders is less orders to fill!

Really just a note on the webpage with the expected lead times. I really get annoyed when I order something online but then get an email telling me the lead time. Even if it says three month lead time, I'm happy to place an order because my expectations have been set for a delay

Another note, while I was on your page I DID NOT noticed the banner at the top saying 4 week lead time until after clicking on and off the page a few times. It disappears from the top when you scroll down. It'd be better to have it right next to the Buy or Add to Cart button

Sounds like the path of patience may yet pan out.

A week ago I was more like :goingcrazy: except not considering canceling, just looking at something temporary that I could remove and sell to another guy I know with a 2nd gen who might want it when the valhallas come in. Never did bite that bullet.

I still haven't figured how how you can stand to weld in that Texas heat... That's dedication right there

Install earlier today and sphincter tension is exponentially reduced. The $60 I spent to have the mechanic friend of mine put them in was well worth it!

Where is everyone getting their Tapered Domed Washers? Barnes has been out of them and everyone else is twice as much as Barnes.

@doggiecareman are you gonna fluid film your frame? The plates are gonna have to come down to get good coverage....I'm guessing. My buddy had his Tacoma frame replaced under warranty and had it fluid filmed, and I didn't see a spot of rust when wiring up his bumper pods. I'm getting mine coated before fall.

I forgot to add when mine were installed earlier today I gave him a full can of fluid film to spray on all the areas that were gonna be covered by the plates.

When I had them put the bedliner in my truck when I purchased it as well I had them fluid film the entire inside of the bed.

I won't need these for protection from thieves really, but after I lower the truck the lightweight aluminum ones would be pretty nice for protection from objects bouncing up off the road, and for show purposes

Gary's Hilltop Auto at the top of East Main in Torrington does the NH Oil coatings. That's probably what I'm doing.

Just ordered a full set today. Am I likely to see them in the next six weeks? Selling my house and moving, so if ETA is 6+ weeks I will need to give you the new address.

Ideally the rear plate would be mounted under the front plate so it doesn't catch on anything.

Pay the price or do without..
    It's up to you..

I bought the medium for my pentagon bolts.
I would think the small for the Screwd 3/8 bolts.

If they're gonna call it rock hard, why can't it be some A2 at maybe 52 HRC but do an interference fit into a carbide ring. It wouldn't be any good for off roading, but if some thief tried to grind it off, his angle grinding wheel would probably explode

Got my black coated steel plates yesterday (mid Feb order, so, not gonna lie, I was starting to be a doubter). I gashed my fingertip on the rough edge of the nut plate when opening the packages this morning, but ultimately I still lucked out. Walked into my local shop just as they finished a big job today….. “can you leave it with us now? If so we will get it done by closing time.” Hour and a half later I got the call they were done. Best $80 I spent today. I’m a happy boy.

Waited to get my shields, sweated everyday over potentially getting my cats stolen. Got my shields last week, got them installed, and today some piece of shit stole my Tundra out of my driveway.

No words to express my emotional state right now.

Sorry for your loss. They couldn't steal the cats cause of the shield, so they stole the whole truck instead. It might turn up once they get the cats off.

Where I live cars are being stolen out of driveways not cats....still will likely get the shield anyway. Do you have anything on it like a gps tag where you can locate the truck.
