    Too many, but not enough....
The front skid most likely yes. You can't put the tranny skid on since this would cover that area.

@fisherman951 do you have any recommendations as far as a compatible front plate?

Negative if you have the RCI trans / transfer case skid. Your best option is to use the RCI add on cat protection.

Oh your looking for a front skid that attaches to this? Maybe the RCI front skid might work but I’m not sure honestly

Nope. Supporting my honey and a friend doing an elevation training hike (how sea-level people build red blood cells) in preparation to hike Mt. Whitney next month. I’m the one of us with a close friend that lives up there so we can stay in her cabin.

I did run Gold and White Mountains a few weeks ago. WM is harder than it used to be. Like what we’d heard it was like. before we ran it. Based on last month’s run, we may have to recognize it as “moderate to difficult” for San G planning.

Ok so after I got my kings installed I had my bmc done. I asked my fab guy if he could adjust my coilovers to get more lift on the front but he said I should get a bigger spring. I’m not exactly sure what spring came on it. It’s the 2.5 kings with adjusters. Currently the rear is higher than the front. On the rear I also have kings with stock leafs. Recommendation for a good setup for the rear? I was thinking icon rtx. I don’t tow much but I want the ability to tow if need be.

Can you send a picture of how your coilovers are set up currently?
It’s unlikely you need a longer spring - unless somehow the wrong length is installed.

Reference your rear springs, Deaver is in SoCal, up in the west riverside area. Alcan is farther. Both are best I’d recommend for dialing in the lift you want, for carrying static load or towing. Is you’re one of those guys that wants it legal all the time, you’ll probably have to add airbags. Other you’d have to choose between level unloaded, or level when towing.

    Edit: level, not legal.

The length and spring rate and diameter are usually visibly printed on spring.....but you knew that.

    So, 3" dia. 600lb rate 16" length
Lots of folks, especially LT trucks, run 700lb.
Regardless, I think 600 is a little soft. Looks to me like you still have room for more preload w/o sacrificing too much comfort

Gotcha. Make sense. If I plan on getting sliders m, a roof rack, and maybe a bumper down the line should I just go with a 16” 700? Is the preload adjustment pretty easy?

What airbag setup do you recommend? I’m going to email deaver and see which leafpack they suggest. I’m in the riverside San Bernardino area so deaver would be perfect lol

I don’t have a recommendation. I’m all about overloaded off-road glamping shenanigans and don’t mind a lot of rake when the truck is empty. But I’m one of very few that’s all about function over form.

There’s 1.17329 million threads on this forum about this, so I’ve learned 1. leaf springs are created for to be level either loaded or unloaded, not both, because they’re built to support a specific range of weight. But air bags are the “answer” if you want to be level in both scenarios, unladen or towing.

Do a bit of searching on this forum and mask your specific questions on one of those threads if you don’t find what you need already answered. I’m sure someone on here has a solution you’ll like.

To get the best recommendation from Deaver, it’s best if you know what your truck actually weighs, how much front axle, how much rear axle. There are eight stations for semi trucks where you can get your truck weighed.

Lol I do know this, but had forgotten to be honest haha. Good catch!

    ^ Agreed.

Id start with adjusting the collar to add a little more preload, if that doesn’t do it for you then go up to 700# spring rate. The new coils would be 3x16x700.

Though not entirely necessary, this tool is highly recommended for for adjusting preload:

Jack the wheel off the ground, loosen the bolt on the collar and turn the collar.....clockwise I think? Be sure to count the revolutions. Often people add a little more to the passenger side to compensate for the Tundra lean.
