terrorist tan :rofl:never heard that one. Baby poop brown is what I’ve been calling it. I’ve got a roll of APA vinyl wrap that I’m going to stick on there… I just have to make time to pull the bumper all apart and do the deed. If I fk it up I bought enough wrap to just take it to the wrap shop to have it done right.

Installed the Teton Workshop shifter yesterday and drove 2 hours for pro wheels and tires advertised as coming off a 21, only to find out they were off a 19. He also had his factory suspension. I passed on the wheels and forgot about the suspension. Should I go back? $1300 for the wheels and tires, $500 for the fox shocks and some extra parts like steering knuckles?

Copying this from my “build” thread:

Went and picked up these TRD OR wheels wrapped in Michelin LTX at2 this morning and my dealer had a cancellation this afternoon so I was able to get them installed with the TPMS sensors working etc. I was torn between some aftermarket wheels but I really think this is the best looking wheel made for our trucks. Not super aggressive or wild but not bland and boring like the ones I had on there previously.

A very very big thank you to @GT87 for holding these for me so we could meet a little closer for pickup and an amazing deal. Great dude.

You shouldn't go back. But you should tell me where this guys is located so I can go buy it :D

Folks are paying $2k for TRD Pro Fox Shocks and $2k for BBS Forged Wheels here. Even if you end up not using them, you can just sell them for a profit.

05DE0861-07A9-4721-B98D-C75EF2A35AEA.jpg On my 2nd day of ownership I washed, clay barred, polished and used the Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic Sealant on her. I bought the truck preowned. It’s a 2018. It was an Arizona truck so the roof and the top of the headlights showed the effects of the intense Arizona sun. The roof paint was transformed and looks like new…..the headlights…meh. I plan on doing the factory LED headlight conversion. Anyone on this forum made the LED headlight switch? If so where did you purchase them and what was the price. Looks like an easy install.

I’ll let you know next outing. I ran MOAB and had a cooling issue in the past. I’m hoping that won’t be the case.

Installed an under the tonneau truck box yesterday. I lose 1 tie down, but I have the bed rail system, so it doesn't impact me a whole lot.

    Sweet geebus - where at?
I'd buy the shocks at that price to sit on them for rebuild time.

Sounds good. Should make a difference with this 100+ degree weather we get in Sacramento. My truck runs about 198-202 on the freeway regardless of outside temps

Not sure if I’ll sell them though. Thinking about putting everything on my limited TRD off-road. Thoughts on the pro suspension compared to the TRD OR suspension?

I have a TRD OR and like the suspension but I’m going to be upgrading to ADS suspension within a year. I have friends with other make vehicles that have Fox suspension and they love them. I was torn between Fox and ADS but I’m going with ADS because the coating on the ADS is a lot better then the Fox’s

Congrats on one HELL of a deal!! I just installed the TRD Pro Fox shocks. Big time difference. I would guess it has to be superior to the TRD OR suspension.
