Anyone have experience with the the two types of Go Rhino step finishes - the bedliner vs the “textured” black? I ordered RB20s in textured black but wondering if I made a mistake… just looking for pros/cons of each.

Go to autoanythin.com they are already 15% off and use code Plus7 to get 7% more. Then I did a chat to get 10% off my Retrax. Spent $2600 including tax and shipping for the RB20 and a retraxpro XR

For those interested in floor mats. Photos are of the two different mats I have. Ones are the OEM Toyota version and the others are Weathertech.897DCE38-FBA0-4996-9412-13E8E43AECF4.jpgBE838987-0AF9-4C65-9DD7-9B9BD012AA9D.jpg1A1D5B92-7BFD-4157-9A21-262C84E86A5F.jpg4BE3A661-98D3-447C-ABAC-D40F8F6AD5D9.jpg

I like how the WeatherTech provides coverage higher up the side and front. Not sure why they didnt cover the entire footrest like the OEM does.

Last time I looked at WT and Husky liners, neither offered anything for the rear yet. Big reason why I went with OE all weather floor liners. I wanted an aftermarket set at first. But not gonna wait to take care of the rear as well.

Found an entire kit online front and rear with adjusters. It's really tempting but part of me wants to run Fox.

That being said, anyone have any insider info as to when Fox might be releasing a kit?

Have you reached out to Michael at Adventure Motors KC? I am picking up my truck and heading 13hrs straight to his shop to get his kit installed. Fox fronts, dobinsons rears, dobinson coils, custom sway bar brackets, bump stops and extended brake lines- actual real deal full kit.

I have. He quoted me nearly 3 grand for a Frankenstein lift. Not a huge fan of everything they put together but props to them for figuring something out quickly. I’d rather wait and spend a few hundred extra bucks to have a suspension actually built and tuned for this platform. The full king kit is 3700 and that’s 2.5 shocks all the way around with adjusters and reservoirs.

The shocks he is using are tuned for the truck thankfully, not just off the shelf.

$3700 + UCA/s- $1k-2k, plus bump stops $300, rear coils $300+, sway bar links ???, brake lines $300, etc will add up fast. I'll report back next week, getting mine installed Saturday and driving it 15hrs to Montana and will be off-road all next week.

That's fair. I have Fox 2.5 DSC on my 4runner and while it's expensive, it rides really really nice. I unfortunately set a high standard for myself with suspensions and now I want the very best for the Tundra.

Please report back on how you like that setup though! I want some real world experience, not just someone trying to push the product on me.

I will for sure, I am coming off custom valves icon cdcv’s with billet arms, aftermarket leafs, etc so I too have a high standard.

I lived there for 10.5 years and spent most of my childhood there, I’ll be there for work- I.e. fishing and exploring all week, then back of Idaho.

Have to agree, I'm sold on the WT's coverage. It would really help with the snow and salt we get here in the winter.

I got the RB20 slimline in bedliner. I think they look awesome and theyre very tough. My girlfriend stood them up against my tailgate while helping me install and the wind blew them down so they hit the pavement. They got “scratched” up pretty good but i just rubbed the spots with my finger and they look brand new. Almost like they self healed, but in reality i was just wiping off the concrete left on them, the finish was unaffected. The GoRhino logo is a little tore up but I plan to remove it anyway.

I have no experience with the powder coated black but id imagine theyre a little more slippery and get dinged up more. I didnt think the bedliner finish was worth the extra cost but I found a 20% off code on here, and Im really glad I went with them.

husky are a better version of the WT, imo. softer more pliable rubber than those stiff WT that never seem to stay form fitting.

Fwiw- Since we get the all weather mats here in Canada, I’d wait until closer to fall & see if you like the oem ones or not. For me, I wish WT mats covered the footrest better. I use it so not being covered by the mat means salt etc can run down behind it on those wet slush salty days anyway. ( wife’s RAV4 has WT) At least oem covers it better, but not up the sides as good.

I had emailed with someone at fox a few months ago and they told me they weren’t expecting anything until at least the end of the year as far as bolt on kits.

I ended up buying a pro comp kit that only just showed up months later, and prob would have went with the icons had I known I’d have waited this long.

I had heard something similar from a buddy on Instagram. Man I wanted to wait for fox but this King setup looks awfully nice.
