That's interesting. All the tuners that use the HP for flashing, even on the Magnusson site, they tell you to plug it in to a battery charger while flashing. And everyone is blaming my issue on the fact that I didn't do so even though my battery was at 100%.

I thought that was odd. I've flashed tunes on 5 vehicles I've owned, and every platform has recommended (or demanded) that the charger be connected and the battery be fully charged.

ViktorG also stresses in his tuning video to hook up to a charger as well.

I’ve been pulling the 10amp fuse out of the relay for the intercooler pump as well to take that load off. I haven’t had any issues even just using the charger on the 8amp setting but maybe I’ll use 15 amps from here out.

I'll be pulling that as well as the fuel pump fuse per Matt Smith's suggestion moving forward.

Does a good jump box suffice or is a charger mandatory for flashing?

Belay my last on the traction bars. Going to give the RAS a try before going to these traction bars. The bars look like good kit; need to deal with weak OEM leaf springs.

The Road Masters claim they reduce/eliminate axle wrap while supporting the rear springs. We shall see.

On another note I'm hoping I don't hit my rev limiter to where I need the valve body upgrade.

I can see how they would slightly mitigate wrap

but nothing like a traction bar.

with your level of hp, you need the traction bars and the RAS for your other issues

Give us some feedback on how RAS does with axle wrap. I’m tempted to sometimes remove the airbags and go with RAS instead. The way theyre oriented they should definitely help a lot.

    Probably wont eliminate it completely.

Unfortunately it may be either or. It doesn't look like both systems can be used at the same time. The other option is to get a new leafpack at some point.

Will do if I go that route. The only way to really check is to mount a camera under the chassis.

    Aaaand.

    I'm back in action.

New ECM came in today and I worked with Matt Smith to get the thing all setup and matched up to my old VIN and get my ProSpeed tune back on. What a pain in the effing dick.

HP Tuners was useless in this whole mess. ProSpeed told me to hit them up and they can usually fix it if I send them my ECU. I reached out to them.. They basically had me send some logs and told me to try to flash again. Flash failed. "Yep, ECM is bad, you need to buy a new one". And that was basically the end of their help.

Glad you got it fixed. Lesson learned I guess. Matt Smith is the salt of the earth, glad he was able to help you out. I know I owe him a beer. Sounds like you owe him a whole case!

    look at Caddy go...

    I see that 2650..

Cadillac Reveals The 685HP 2023 Escalade-V, The Industry's Most Powerful Full Sized SUV
A supercharged legacy and AWD grip
Rated at a GM-estimated 682 horsepower at 6,000 engine rpm and 653 lb-ft of torque at 4,400 engine rpm, the Escalade-V’s 6.2L hand-built supercharged and intercooled engine builds on a legacy of supercharged V-8 engines offered in Cadillac V-Series models, those being the second- and third-generation CTS-V models, the XLR-V, and most recently, the CT5-V Blackwing.
The Escalade-V’s engine shares architectural similarities with the CT5-V Blackwing’s supercharged V-8, but features a larger, 2.65L R2650 TVS supercharger that helps overcome the higher inlet and exhaust restrictions on the full-size SUV application. It spins at up to 13,500 rpm to produce approximately 10 pounds of boost and has an electronically controlled bypass valve for optimal drivability. The supercharger’s unique four-lobe rotors are designed to broaden the engine’s power band, with great low-end torque production and strong high-rpm power.

The rest of the engine is designed to support the high output and the greater cylinder pressures that come with forced induction, including a durable forged-steel crankshaft, forged steel connecting rods and forged aluminum pistons. The aluminum cylinder heads are stronger and handle heat better than conventional castings. The heads also feature lightweight titanium intake valves.

A 10-speed automatic transmission pairs with the engine and features calibration for the unique powerband characteristics of its supercharging system.

That will be great thank you. I'm not expecting it to fully mitigate wrap.

I'll have to look at the SDHQ and RAS geometry again but it looks like its a mutually exclusive choice.

I'm not gonna lie, I freaking love it, I would love one in red, hell, if Jeep decides to stuff a Hellephant into a Grand Wagoneer L, sign me the f up! I'll even get the plate says "canyonero".

I reached out to SDHQ, see if they reply about group buy, the RAS is great for load in the bed, but I notice at the hitch it still sags more than I'd like, right now I'm waiting for some fittings to come in so I can test bags with RAS, if it sucks (which I think would), then I'm going to +3 shackles + bags + SDHQ.
