a lot of the 20in bars are actually larger than 20 in memory serves me correct so they can cover up some of the gap

Another thing to add to my "Reasons I should get off my butt and learn how to use a 3D printer" list. As cheap as 3D printers are getting, I need to teach myself how to use one. Their utility is pretty amazing.

If anybody figures out an easy way to wire up the light bar, I’d be very appreciative! Got the whole grille and light bar installed and can’t turn the light bar on

Did you end up putting the grill shutter on the grille or you left it off?

Yeah I think I like the look of it without the lightbar too. Raptor lights part number would be awesome if anyone finds something that fit. Thank you in advance! I'll do the same if I run across it.

i don't know if anyone else realized it, but there will have to be a bracket to mount the "raptor" lights to the grill, if you look at the picture of the back of the grill on page 6, https://www.tundras.com/threads/grille-interchangeable.100356/page-6#post-2751839 , there is nothing there to be able to mount the lights to it appears

Let's stop calling them "raptor" lights like the F-150 was the first to install these.

I'm channeling all of my truck driver friends...more appropriately they should be called "chicken" lights. In use since the 1920's on semi trucks.

For anybody else trying, I’ve tried the generic cheap “raptor” lights from Amazon/eBay, as well as the Tacoma “raptor” lights, and none work with this TRD Pro grille. Have one more that I’m going to try on Sunday or Monday before I give up and wait for a 3rd party or Toyota

i believe the difference would be that his was most likely an early prototype, where yours is closer to production, your is the one that had the sticker with the part number on it correct?

photo from motor trend article, this is apparently how the grille marker lights may look, again this when they are showing off the prototype vehicles, so they may have changed, but looking at the grille pictures and this one, looks like they may still be the same shape hole in the grille for the light

Just connecting the positive and ground connections from the wiring diagram to my battery. Don’t really have the knowledge or skill set to do much beyond that.

One of my buddies from instagram said this: The harness for the light bar and the raptor lights is built into the "Engine harness #4" and is specific to the trd pro. I don't think it'd work. Probably have to get this connector and wire it into the dash switch like regular a/m lights.
