Free truck? Hell yeah. I'd sell that bad boy and buy some more discounted stocks.

    Free Sequoia???? I'd keep it.

I live in Lakeville and have only seen one ( Black limited TRD off road) during visit in Edina. I stopped in Burnsville Toyota last Friday as they actually have a test drive truck available. They said 30 person deep waiting list for a hybrid and if you want a TRD Pro be prepared to wait 2-2.5yrs!

I bet they said that to get you to pull the trigger on whatever else they had available. They only know their allocation a few months out, so best case they're guessing. Worst case they're bullshitting you.

So if anyone’s looking for a new tundra this is in Southwest Pennsylvania and they’re selling it MSRP on its way in transit to the dealership

@Caliraisedled, is that a 2-3 inch spacer lift in the front, and what size and type tires are those? Thanks.

Hang on a little longer, Dr. Z!!! There are still issues and prices are still too high. It won't be much longer. The used and new market for pickups is already showing solid signs of stabilizing: Used values are definitely down across the board and I'm seeing incentives and lots of commercials for new ones. Just a little longer!!

This is my only hesitation. It's my least favorite exterior color but it does look good with red. My ideal combo is lunar rock with red but only one I found was $99k.

I think the black and red looks bad ass. I would not hesitate if I had the funds.

Not the TRD pro, every 2022 one has been allocated. I don't think I'll get the approval to install the charging for my Lightning so I'm looking at back up options. Worse case I can flip the Lightning for more than the TRD pro markup. And keep the EV rebate.

Do you already have the Lightning or are you still waiting for it?

When I was talking about pickup values coming down in used and new I wasn't referring to the Tundra but virtually all of the others. Half ton pickup stock is improving and the value of used is dropping. Eventually that will happen with used cars too but the gas prices jumping up most likely helped the pickup values down. I would bet full sized SUV's are in the same boat as the full sized pickups but I haven't been tracking those.

Lightning build date is 6/7. Tries for an on the lot black Tremor with msrp of $72k but it had a markup as well.

With Ford announcing all Lighting sold out for 2 years this might be the best plan.

I thought they said you couldn’t sell it for 1-2 years though?

it is optional by the dealer to "opt-in." Last my dealer said they weren't opting in.

TFL's recap after five months and 7300 miles. 4000 miles of that was towing 7klbs plus from LA to Denver, Ike Gauntlet, Denver to Phoenix, and 7klbs offroad in Moab. There's some good info to glean (along with Truck King's videos I posted above). Something interesting is neither TFL nor Truck King had wastegate problems. Such a spotty issue, could be something as simple as a washer or circlip.

Does this mean since I haven't heard from my dead beat dealership I'm not getting my TRD Pro this year? I put down a deposit six month ago.

With the issues on the "normal" turbo 2022....There is no way I would even think about being a 80k beta tester for the hybrid turbo...

It depends where you're at. It seems like allocation is in the North and Northeast. Not many in the south or west so far.
