@Roman Welcome back! I was panicked during COVID when I couldn’t find you. I about pulled my hair out trying to find legitimate Tow mirrors!
Are y’all still offering the promo code?

    @Roman

    Welcome back.
I have 20" Platinum wheels from a 2017 and I'd like to get the black center caps. Is there an OEM black cap available like the one in this picture?

Looking to order the OEM front and rear pads, does the shiim kit for front and rear come with already? or a separate order?

Any difference between TRD vs OEM?

    TIA!

@Roman.. Hey, I'm looking for what I think is called the roof drip molding that runs the length of the cab. I need the driver's side only, and it appears there is a 4/5" piece in the back that is still place. So, I'm assuming I'll need the main full length molding plus the short "cap" or end piece at the front. Vehicle is a 2008 SR5 Crewmax w/sunroof. Let me know if you need pics or anything else.

    Thank you!

The shim kit does not come with the OEM pads, but does come with the TRD pads. The TRD pads tend to brake better and don't fade as quickly as the OEM pads when you're using the brakes quite a bit. Think towing or going downhill a lot. The TRD pads typically don't last as long as the OEM pads, though. It's sort of the same deal with tires. Better performance tires usually don't last as long, and tires that last a good while don't have the best performance.

I included the clip in case you need one of those too.

    Hi @Roman
I just picked up a 2018 Rav4 Adventure for my daughter. It has some minor rear bumper damage. Can the cracked black protective top cover be replaced on its own? If so could you please provide a link to the part? Does it come with attached clips or are the clips separate?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Roman

    The topic is TPMS sensors

    Is it true that
42607-0C091 is for vehicles with a traditional conventional key
    and
42607-06030 is for vehicles with a smart key (push button start / keyless entry)

A separate but related question does the factory steel wheel take a different type of sensor compared to a factory alloy wheel? This question and its answer can be misleading as the 2021 RAV4 LE comes with steel wheels and a conventional key and the 2021 RAV4 XLE comes with alloy wheels and a smart key. So the sensor might be different in the steel vs alloy wheel not due to the wheel but because the alloy wheel came off a vehicle with a smart key which dictates the type of sensor.

    Is this correct?

    Thanks...

I'm picking up a 2017 Tundra Blazing Blue Metallic 1794 and I want to de-chrome the front. From what I can tell I'll have to get the front bumper end caps unpainted and will have to paint them but will I be able to buy the front grille and hood bulge already painted BBM? Can I get this color with the TRD pro grille or is it only the Platinum grille? Or is the later 2020 SR5 also compatible?

Looks like that may be the accessory rear bumper protector. It is only held on with adhesive.

    https://parts.toyotaofcoolsprings.com/oem-parts/toyota-bumper-protector-rear-pu06042016p1

Yes, the 0C091 is for conventional keys and the 06030 is for smart keys. The difference in steel and alloy wheels is the angle of the sensor stem. This is an older image, but it will show the difference.

    Untitled.jpg

Steel wheels take the 40 degree sensor, and alloy wheels will take the 20 degree. In the case of the Rav4, Toyota lists three different part numbers for TPMS. For a 2020 Tundra, they list four different numbers. Two 20 degree, two 40 degree, and with or without smart key.

Yes, you will need to paint the front bumpers. The hood bulge is available in Blazing Blue from Toyota. The only grille available with that color surround pre-painted is the Platinum grille. If you want the Pro grille, you will need to have the surround painted.

Hi Roman, I just ordered some color matched handles today. I had a local guy who was going to color match the chrome on my 2019 1794 but he seems over priced. I was wanting the color matched pro grill with surround and bulge with paint code 218. I have the sensor also. That part has been very confusing on what to order. Also, is it possible to order the bumper end caps and mirror covers in color match or no?

I think I have everything… pro grill, grill surround, tss sensor, front bumper caps (no chrome on rear bumper), mirror covers. Am I missing anything?

If you have fog lights, you will need two clips, part number 75392-0R010.

Those are the matte black mirror caps in your cart also. You had asked for painted mirror caps, which are available here:

    https://parts.toyotaofcoolsprings.com/p-mirror-caps-mirrorcaps

Other than that, you're good to go.

Hey @Roman got my truck back from the repair shop and this "shield" is ripped and rubbing the paint on the door when I open it. Do you know what it is? It's behind the front fender and before the front driver door. Looks like they didn't clip it back into place and my door tore it apart from opening and closing.

Just a couple questions for ya @Roman! I have recently bought a 2012 Tundra limited and I was wondering if you know where I can find a passenger side stone guard for the front of the truck bed; a grill shell without an insert (I think this one doesn't actually exist but thought I would ask the guru); and replacement motors/gears for my power-folding tow mirrors.

Thank you so much man, really appreciate all of the help you give to tundra owners everywhere!

Here is the part and the clips that hold it in:

    https://parts.toyotaofcoolsprings.com/oem-parts/toyota-rear-seal-538280c010
    https://parts.toyotaofcoolsprings.com/oem-parts/toyota-door-trim-panel-upper-clip-90467a0016c0 x3

    Here you go:

    https://parts.toyotaofcoolsprings.com/oem-parts/toyota-steering-tie-rod-end-right-4504639295
    https://parts.toyotaofcoolsprings.com/oem-parts/toyota-steering-tie-rod-end-left-4504739175

Crewmax, right? If so, here's the stone guard:

    https://parts.toyotaofcoolsprings.com/oem-parts/toyota-stone-guard-662430c010

The grille shell alone and the gears for the mirrors do not exist by themselves. You would need a complete grille assembly and complete mirror assemblies.
